Chatham Square
Aug 2018 • Family
This place is located in Chinatown which is easily worth a wander around, its really called Chatham square but also known as Kimlau square which is a local name of a WWII pilot. The main statue is Lin Zexu and worth a find it will only take a few minutes of your time.

Great Meeting Place!

Known by many folks in Chinatown, this is a great spot to meet someone or walk to catch a taxi. I often stay nearby and I always walk to The Square before calling an Uber because it is centrally located.

One of many squares in Chinatown. This one has some benches to stay. Right next to the Welcome to Chinatown sign

Disgusting and avoid at all costs
Aug 2017 • Solo
Unless you want to share a bench with homeless men who treat the benches like cots, want to be surrounded by their garbage, needles, and scattered beer cans, avoid this micro park. There's nothing significant here, it's a corner where there are 6 benches to sit down but they're always taken up by drunk guys who like cursing and spitting on each other at 7 in the morning. I've reported this section to 311 numerous times because it needs to be seriously cleaned up. I have seen drunks fights here in the morning and the evening. Just avoid, simply avoid.
