This was the highlight of our trip! The llamas are very well behaved and adorable. Our guide, Dalton, was so much fun and knowledgeable about both the llamas and Capital Reef. We only had time for the 2 hour hike, it was an easy hike with great scenery! Definitely recommend!!

We only had 1 day in Capitol Reef, wanted to see the sights but also hear about the area from a guide since we didn't have much time. Chose Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas and was 100% the correct choice. We did the 4 hour Explorer hike (husband, 19 year old daughter and myself). Andrew was our guide and hiked at our pace, took breaks whenever needed and was just a great person to have with us. Very scenic and a perfect location to hike in solitude. The llamas were very well behaved and carried everything we needed. Andrew supplied very well prepared snacks, the lamas carried the food, water, a table and chairs (and a first aid kit). Truly memorable sitting at the summit taking in the view and enjoying snacks before the hike back. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to spend the day, or a few hours, experiencing the vast views without the tourist crowds. I would definitely do this again through Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas, was hands down the best experience.

My Wife and I were the last tour of the day so Dan made it very personable. He took us to these amazing views and Max kept us entertained with his humming (I called it his singing voice) Jesep, decided that he needed a break a couple times and just sat down, right in the middle of the walks, but it was fine. It gave us more time to enjoy the walk. Dan is very knowledgable about Llamas and about his surroundings. He is an amazing tour guide. We would go back and do this again. I highly recommend taking this adventure. This was the highlight of our trip. Thank you Dan!

We only had 1 day in Capitol Reef and we are so glad we had time to include a 2 hour hike with the llamas. We had such a fun time walking with them and feeding them treats. Our teenage daughter absolutely loved her llama, Tokyo. He was such a poser. We must have at least 100 pictures of them together. What great memories. We hiked with another family and 2 guides. The guide who mainly stayed with our family was Justin and he was great to talk to and a terrific help with our llamas, plus he took several pictures for us. I have already told family and friends about our excursion. Beau and Kirsten were both friendly and helpful on the phone when researching and booking. Thanks for the memories!

Memories is what it is all about. Thank you very much for your review and for trusting in us with your vacation time. I will pass on your note to Justin. This will make his day. Also I will let Tokyo know he was honorably mentioned.

My grandmother and I went on their horseback ride. What a wonderful experience. The horses ( and Llamas) were well cared for. Our Wrangler, Mary Lou had everyone ride around the pen before embarking on our trail ride. She wanted to make sure everyone knew basic horseback riding. Mary Lou was very knowledgeable about the geology, history and flowers. Highly recommend it to all Mary Lou also said in the morning they ride a couple of little kids around in the arena. The Llama hike looks fantastic too. Next time
