This place is one of the most fascinating places in the area. Unbelievable collection of all things historic. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you love history, old pictures, furniture, postcards or nautical antiques - this is your place!
If you frequent Wellfleet, this is a great place to learn about the early history of Billingsgate, including when there was a train that went to the harbor and when there was a resort hotel that was on the bayside of town.
The society has so much to offer with so many dedicated volunteers trying to preserve and present the best of Wellfleet's history. I would recommend that everyone visit the museum, the annex and JOIN and volunteer!!
