Interesting and Educational

Great time with Bobby. The canyon is beautiful, and it is nice to see the petroglyphs up close instead of from the rim.

We went on the 5-hour tour to Spider Rock with Dennis and his sweet 10-year old granddaughter. Dennis spent his childhood in the canyon so he has a very intimate knowledge of the canyon. Dennis was very accommodating and would stop whenever we asked him to so that we could take photos. I was very impressed with the relationship he... More

How could it get better- a fabulous canyon with a fabulous and expert guide. Canyon de Chelly is a special place and to truly get the most out of your experience you need an expert guide. We were lucky to have visited the Canyon with Tseyi Tours. Bobby was our guide and entertained us with stories of growing up in... More

Another tour group, Beauty Way, ignored us, so we booked with Bobby Van Winkle of Tseyi Jeep Tour. After comparing notes with other tourists, I feel we got the best deal. Tseyi was less expensive, showed us more, and taught us so much! Loved it!

,We were so glad we booked with Tseyi Jeep Tours and even more grateful that we had Dennis Tam as our Navajo guide. We not only got the historical and educational side of the canyon, we got all this information from the heart of someone who grew up in the canyon. it felt like we were being shown the beloved... Great tour. Our guide, Colleen Hunter, gave us great insight of Canyon deChelly and the history of her ancestors. We took the tour all the way to the end, on the north canyon side and were out for 6 hours. There are two arms, north & south so one can only see a little over half the canyon in that... More

I called the night before and reserved a tour and our Navajo guide picked us up at our hotel promptly at the arranged time for our trip into Canyon de Chelly. Dennis was very informative about the history of the canyon, as well as his personal history of growing up there. We also learned a lot about Navajo culture. Any... More

We did the three hour tour with Bobby. He is full of past and present knowledge of the canyon and the Navajo life within the canyon. We made many stops to see ruins, rock formations, petroglyphs , and pictographs. He was an excellent guide and I would recommend his tour.

We spent an amazing 3 hours with Bobby; a Navajo born and raised near Spider Rock, deep in the canyon. His knowledge of the culture, landscape, and history of Canyon De Chelly goes back decades to when he guided as a high school student. He pointed out and explained petroglyphs, pictographs, and the pre-historic ancient native dwellings that we would... More

We had a terrific tour with our Navajo guide. We opted for the 5 hr tour - well worth it. You can either go to Mummy Cave, or Spider Rock (different Canyons). We opted for Mummy Cave. There are so many ruins and petroglyphs, pictographs in the Canyon, you can't see them all. Native artists sell their art, jewelry, etc... More
