came here years ago with older grandkids, thought we would try it with local grandchildren, 11, 8 and 4. on mondays they have deal $10 a person including shoe rental, all day until 6pm. we all enjoyed the bowling. most liked the food. i sampled bar and was pleased to note english soccer on tV.
Felt not allowing even water into premises hash in Florida where we all carry water bottles evreywhere , even Seaworld and Brevard Zoo allow water bottles. as we spent over $100 think this requremment should be changed.

Bowled here many times when I lived in Titusville. Seems the same as it did years ago. Lot's of fun, good atmosphere and decent food. Plenty of lanes so we had no problem getting a number of lanes. What fun and look forward to bowling there again when we go home.

When all else fails and you don’t know what to eat, run,don’t walk,to River Lanes. The food,service and friendly atmosphere is second to none. The menu is vast,but not complicated and has everything for even the most finicky eater..

I love bowling, I love Bethel, I truly aspire to support each and every business in town. We live in Maine year round and have for several decades. We truly want River Lanes to thrive.
We have been to River Lanes many times since they’ve opened. Often it’s quite busy, and you need to need to wait 1-2 hours for a lane. This is expected on a busy weekend night and a sign of good demand. I bowl in Portland and this is expected.
On a recent night, we arrived around 5:30 with a large party and ordered drinks and appetizers. Drinks came, food did not. No exaggeration, we tried to place full meal orders over an HOUR later and we were told then food orders were taking over an hour (which we were not told when ordering our original appetizers). That said, our food (apps AND entrees) arrived roughly 2.5 hours after ordering. Pizza, wings, quesadillas, subs - nothing fancy. Waitstaff was very apologetic, but no appearance from the manager/owner. Busy nights take awhile, 2.5 hours is unrealistic.
Eventually we asked if our kids could be extended maybe a half hour on bowling, or maybe some appetizers could be comped give the long delay. Anything. The OWNER came out, immediately said ‘no’ without even listening to our concerns, and literally turned her back to us. I’ve never been treated more rudely in a food/entertainment establishment. Shocked that the owner of a business would not even LISTEN to her customers. Bartender even came over in a defensive/protective/threatening way. If this is how businesses act in your home community, there are SERIOUS underlying issues.
In any case, WTF??!? Just apologize, give a $20 gift card to return, and call it a day. Something like that. No, instead be a complete jerk, and encourage us to spread our experience to our large network of friends who spend time in Bethel. And to the larger Bethel community - please encourage better business practices!!! You deserve much much better!

This place is good for singles, couples, families, kids & teens...the food is really good, the beer is cold & the servers are the best!!!! There's even entertainment on some weekends

It's a bowling alley. They have a simple menu but the simple menu is excellent! They have awesome burgers, chicken wings and homemade chips! They even have an excellent simple breakfast menu and very reasonable price.

This place is amazing----not only a family fun center--bowling, video games, birthday parties, billiards --- but the restaurant is GREAT!!! It's not your average bowling alley menu---breakfast is made to order & really good---lunch is great salads & sandwiches--dinner from apps to meal to dessert. The bar stocks a high selection of beer & can make just about any cocktail you want. And the staff---talk about a family work place. Everyone smiles & wants to generally start a conversation with you. What a fine friendly knowledgeable staff. Love this place. They even have live music on special nights

I went there on a 1st date...
Had some lunch and drinks..Played pool afterwards...Friendly Staff...Food Drinks and atmosphere here great...
We went around 1pm so we pretty much had the place to ourselves...which was nice....Overall this is a nice clean place...great well priced menu...and good drinks...enjoy
We finished our date over at the Best Western right down the street...

Met up here for a first date... Dave was the bartender. He was super nice and attentive. The food was fantastic and so are the drink specials. Very fun and relaxed atmosphere
