Escaped with 19 seconds to spare! We did Family Cabin and loved all the details of 90s nostalgia in the cabin set up. The puzzles and storyline were super fun. Great way to spend time with a small group. We’ll definitely be back to try the other rooms!

Our family of 5 (kids 8, 10, 12) loves escape rooms. Diner and Chinatown here were some of our all time favorites. Clever puzzles, fun themes and decor. Some really unique implementations to a few of the puzzles that were unexpected and put a smile on everybody's face. We did Chinatown the first time and then brought my brother and sister in law with us for their first escape room experience with Chinatown. We have done shinier, more technological rooms, but these are just really fun, well balanced, really well planned rooms. Looking forward to trying their other two rooms.

We had a great first visit! Our group of 4 (Ages 43 to 13) had 2 Escape Room experienced players and 2 newbies and we all had a blast with The Diner. We didn't quite make the escape, it was very challenging and we were so SO close, but even with the near miss, we had a fantastic time. Our game master walked us through the rest of the puzzle before we left and was so nice. I could see we probably would have needed an extra 10 minutes to finish up even after the 3 bonus minutes he gave us once our timer ran out!

Parking there can be a challenge so give yourself some time to get a decent spot. There are lockers there to stow your gear. They even have a cute little sign that has a We Escaped notice on one side and We (almost) escaped! on the other. They'll offer to take your photo with it for that cool little keepsake memento as there are no cameras allowed inside the escape rooms.

We will definitely be coming back for our next great adventure and now that we all know what to expect will be bringing our A game with us! Thanks guys!

We did ‘The Diner’ as a foursome. Quite a challenge! Some great puzzles and some great surprises as well. This was only my 5th escape room, but this was by far the best I’ve experienced. I agree with a previous reviewer - this is best done with at least four people. Can’t imagine doing this with only two people.

Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We did the Diner with just two of us. We are experienced escape room fans and this was one of our favorites. First of all, Jacob our game master was great. We felt welcomed, he was attentive, helped us out when we asked— even walked us through some of the things we missed when we didn’t get out. I’m usually so disappointed when we don’t get out (this was failure 8 out of 44 rooms) but this room is so fun that I was still happy we did it. That is rare for me. Usually I’m irritated! Lol! There is really so much to do for 2 people that it is tough. I recommend more. There are some really fun clues that fit the diner theme- the props are creative. This was our favorite room of the 3 we did in San Diego so far. I hope we make it back soon to do another one at quicksand. This place is great!

My family and I have done a handful of escape rooms, but this place was definitely one of our top experiences. The attention to detail in The Diner room was immaculate and the storyline was great. Even with COVID, we felt extremely safe at all times. Parking was super easy to find and the staff was so friendly. Highly recommend this place- we’ll definitely be making another visit!

This was my 10th escape room and I loved it! Very clean, and the clues made a lot of sense—we did the Diner and the room and story was so cute. Anyway, 10/10 loved it v cool vibes. Greg was our game host and he was chill and passionate.

My little sister (age 12) wanted to do a escape room. I found Quicksand Escape Games based on it's distance and google rating. I like that the place offered multiple escape games. We had fun!

The escape is very challenging and really makes you think to find the clues. I would recommend anyone who wants a challenge to try to escape.
