My husband and I love to explore new areas by bike. Our cruise ship had a stop in San Diego and we arranged a bike tour with Tony prior to our trip. Tony met us very close to our cruise port, sized us up on his bikes and took us for an awesome 50km ride around Point Loma area. He offered us a safe route, was a great group ride leader, offered lots of interesting history and also took some amazing photos of us along the route. Was a great day, one of the highlights of our trip! Highly recommend booking a tour with him. I hope Tony comes and lets us guide him around our home town sometime (remember the PEI Gran Fondo in August Tony 😊).

Tony created a custom bike route that began at our hotel in La Jolla and covered Mission Bay, Old Town, Balboa Park, Gaslamp, Little Italy, and so much more. He was very responsive and thorough throughout the planning / coordination process. All the details (water, snacks, photos, music upon arrival) and safety precautions (wipes, helmets, bags) were nice touches. We definitely recommend to anyone looking for an equally challenging, enjoyable and informative experience!

The customer service was unparalleled from booking the trip to completion of the bike tour. I really enjoyed my time with Tony. He was on time, provided excellent instruction, had clean bikes, and provided proper measurements for bike comfort and safety. Tony was a great tour guide as well and patient by allowing a non-athlete to ride as their pace. We were able to stop for breaks. This trip is a great introductory ride to San Diego for those who want to learn more about the city on bike and support their fitness as well. Thank you Tony for everything!

I would highly recommend taking the “Heart of San Diego” tour to get a nice overview of the central part of the city (but don’t be fooled, it’s not just a few blocks - I believe we covered around 20 miles). Tony is a great guide, and I appreciated his efforts to make this happen - it was VERY rainy when I arrived in San Diego on a Friday, and the tour was scheduled for Saturday morning. We had to stay in constant communication and both sides had to show a little flexibility, but we managed to make it work. I have nothing against walking tours, but one can’t cover the same ground and see as much as on a good bike tour!

If you are an avid cyclist, or just a novice that wants to see San Diego in a way that you likely never would on your own, make this a MUST DO on your trip to SD. Tony is a great guy and does everything he could possibly do to make sure you have a great time! We started on the Point Loma ride but the weather wasn't ideal and visibility was a challenge. Tony suggested another route to show us another part of the city and we ended up getting the best of two different routes! Tony does a great job at understanding your skill level and making sure that you will get the most enjoyment from your ride. Along the route, he takes great photos and sends them to you at no additional charge. Tony communicates really well along the route and keeps it safe, but still exciting... There is so much to take in along the route that I suggest you don't blink or you may miss something amazing! I highly recommend that you find time to do this when in town!

Tony Lowery owner/operator is the best bicycle tour guide ever. My wife and I have taken bike tours around the world and this was the best. The bikes were top of the line 10 speeds with smooth shifting. Excellent logistics, planning, information, and knowledgable information along the way.
Tony took 30 photos of us while riding, so we didnt have to stop for photos.
What a memorable day, we are still talking about it

I was in town for business. As a solo traveler, Tony was the only tour operator I found that would take a solo customer. Boy- I was not disappointed!! Tony was very thoughtful in suggesting a ride that would fit my level and interests. He was very knowledgeable of the history of San Diego, and an accomplished cyclist with a great personality. We enjoyed a lunch break to enjoy a sandwich and beverage! I highly recommend a bike ride to see the area and specifically I recommend giving Tony a call!!

We had a great ride with Tony. We were in San Diego for a cruise ship stop and wanted to experience the area by bike. Tony was a fantastic guide, he met us for the start of our ride across the street from the cruise terminal, sized us up on the bikes, went over a description of the route and took us on our way. He provided lots of information along the route, took lots of pictures and knew where all the hidden gems with fantastic views were.
Definitely recommend booking a tour with him!

I had it in my head that I wanted to cycle Torrey Pines Nature Reserve (a fairly steep road!) and then go up the coast, having not been on a bike for a few years. It was challenging but I'm so glad I did it. Tony was very patient while I caught my balance again and got used to the bike, and was helpful with cycling tips throughout. The views were fantastic and Tony took photos throughout. We stopped at a lovely little place for coffee and cake before turning back. Tony has lots of local knowledge about San Diego and surrounds and was good company along the way. The bike was very light weight and well kept so the hills were surprisingly easy (!) and it was fun to get some speed up on the downhills. A really good way to spend a spare day while on a business trip in San Diego!

Can't rate this highly enough. The bicycles were easy to ride and perfectly suited for our tour. Tony was as an absolute pleasure, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, with many interesting facts about San Diego. We rode the Heart of San Diego tour and I can not imagine a better way to experience this beautiful city -- especially Balboa park. Highly recommend! Next time we're back, we hope to do another ride with Tony.
