Pop's Liquor Cabinet is the smallest bar with a capacity of 12 people. JJ was an excellent bartender. He had fun stories and great suggestions on where to eat near by. Drink prices are great. You have to go to Pop's Liquor Cabinet! Thanks JJ for the awesome time. We will definitely be back.

This was our favourite spot in San Diego. We were 3 Canadian girls travelling along the coast, and someone told us we had to stop into the smallest bar in San Diego and I'm so glad we did! The owner was wonderful, welcoming and made delicious cocktails. Every stop in San Diego will now include a stop at Pops! You won't be disappointed!

Like the name says, I thought when walked by that it was a liquor store (a very small one at that), capacity is for 12, it has a jukebox hanging on wall, and around 8 bar stools. It is the size of a large home's walk in closet/literally! The owner/bartender JJ welcomes you in a "you just arrived to Cheers" kind of way. People dancing, laughing, any drink you can think of and then some. I did not ask if there was a restroom, hmm...shame on me!

If you are in San Diego, and plan on visiting the Gaslamp District, this is a "must" stop. This is not just a bar in the District...this is an experience...it is a destination!

Will I comeback? Absolutely, 100%! But, will only bring 11 of my friends!
