Beautiful, Historic, and Moving; the interior of the church is an amazing testimate to the beauty of Christianity and the Parishioners of the Church.
We visited on Easter Sunday and were treated to a great Sermon by the Pastor, Friar Tribute. The Service was crowded, with standing room only, it was a good thing we arrived early.
The Church's history and art work make this a must do for any Catholic visiting San Diego.

I saw this church as i was walking back to our hotel from Little Italy. It was right across the fountain and was curious when i saw the sign if it was indeed a church as it was the back portion, so decided to check it out.
The gift shop was the first thing i saw and was surprised that they have a wide collection of religious items as well as Christmas decors. I was able to buy a nice souvenir. Unfortunately the church and blessed sacrament was close that day according to the lady at the gift shop, coz they were preparing for their centennial celebration mass at 7pm.
I would definitely comeback to visit next time. I wish i had seen this before as we have stayed nearby several times.

Close to downtown & in the heart of Little Italy is Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. The parish is over 100 years old. It's the National Italian Church & once a month (the first Sunday at Noon) they celebrate Mass in Italian (there is also a Latin Mass once a month on the second Sunday). The church is small which makes it cozy & intimate at a Sunday liturgy. There is also a gift shop connected to the parish.

The church is almost 100 years old and the stained glass windows, the ceiling, and everything that is in this church is just magnificent...They hold a mass at 12:00 Noon each day and it is filled with people from the neighborhood along with tourists... the priest who I might add is 87 years old makes you feel welcomed in the House Of The Lord. Don't miss this historic church.

Loved this church. Small and beautiful in little Italy area of San Diego. Very traditional and many women even wear the traditional veils. Dress nicely because this is not a casual place and more traditional. Only negative is there is no parking anywhere close. I parked in a lot and it was 15 dollars for up to 2 hours. If you are from out of town staying at a hotel I highly recommend. Good restaurants nearby too where you can dine after.

This landmark Catholic church in Litfle Italy is currently undergoing a restoration. However, masses are currently (Feb. 2020) being celebrated in the adjacent parish hall.

Our Lady of The Rosary Church is beautiful. The priest are very friendly and very nice! If you can't make the Daily 7:30 am mass there are daily masses at 12:00 too. There is an add bonus of confession available daily at 11:30. What a wonderful place to reconnect with our God!

Our Lady of the Rosary Church is within walking distance of the downtown and marina area. The church is warm and welcoming. The young pastor had a sense of humor and wonderful message. He even performed a service for all married couples in attendance on Valentine's Day to renew their vows. It made our trip very special.
