Dog beach in San Diego, not much else needs to be said other than be sure to clean up after your dog and to not leave any food out. Be sure to take the south end of I-8 or down Ingraham as Mission does not go through.

Apparently this is the biggest dog beach in California (as told to me by a local). We went on a cloudy day at 11 AM on a weekday so it wasn't terribly busy but there were lots of dogs running around having the time of their lives. We walked the length of the beach and back which only took about... More

We were not sure what to expect, but this beach was so much fun! Great shallow beach area to play in, and a close by deeper area, so you don't have to go way out. Dogs were every where and we did not see many altercations. Pet parents were friendly. Only a two groups seemed to not care what their... More

Thanks to the reviews I was able to enjoy this wonderful beach with my dog. There are many nice dogs there and people really watch out for their dogs. It's all off leash. Just make sure you bring your poopie bags in case your dog does his business. The waves are perfect and the lifeguard is always paying attention. If... More

Our whole family, including our dog, has a great time every time. Dogs are very well-behaved (for the most part), and the lifeguards do a good job of keeping jet skis away.

nice place to take your little dogs to place in the water. Its a kind of long walk across sand to get there but worth it.

We recently had a wonderful get together with 25 Berners at OB Dog Beach. Each dog weighing approximately 100 lbs and enjoying the beach and being together. It was really a terrific place for them to roam and enjoy the surf and sand. The area is really easy for all dogs large and small. The surf doesn't crash on the... More
