We visited the upper and wilder part of the park to enjoy the view and to find some geocaches. Lots of interesting wildflowers and shrubs for someone who is not from California. Sadly everyone seems to ignore the "dogs on leash only" signs, and we...More

The Park was relaxing with great views of San Diego and when it’s clear you can see Mexico. We went here in the morning and it was very peaceful and plenty of room for a child to run around. There probably will be some dogs...More

I just came from Kate Sessions Park. What a beautiful, calm and peaceful spot in San Diego! I met a group of friends there for a picnic lunch. It is a warm, humid day; but the park catches the refreshing breezes off the Pacific Ocean...More

High up Mt. Soledad is this fabulous picnic park. Plenty of space for a large gathering or intimate picnic. Best time is early morning when it's almost empty and the views overlooking mission bay and San Diego are amazing. Great place to watch fireworks on...More

Great view of the city, Coronado bridge, the harbor and ocean. Not crowded and it's free. There is parking or you can park on the street and walk.

This park has beautiful ocean views from most arras of the park, it's breathtaking. The playground is in a flat area with limited views and the rest is a little steep

Love to come here to enjoy the view and picnic, have the kids run around, or let the dogs loose. Playground equipment, restrooms, plenty of parking.

Beautiful park with fabulous views of San Diego and the harbor. There is no fee for this park and there are public restrooms and ample parking. If biking here, it is a relatively steep climb into the park from the city. We know of at...More

This is a lovely park to see the skyline view of downtown San Diego. We have had several parties here for our Grandson, and often enjoy picnics with him here as well. There are 2 age appropriate play areas and equipment. Always fun.
