Knowing that these treasured men & women died for us makes this a somber yet beautiful place to visit. The grounds are immaculate & beautiful. Take a moment to appreciate the freedoms we all are blessed with because of the ultimate sacrifice of these solders.

We were headed to the lighthouse but it was closed for the day so we stopped at the cemetery. What a beautiful and serene resting place for our veterans and their families.

This cemetery is the resting place of so many soldiers dating back to early wars. It is humbling to walk and read all the ranks and wars. The views of downtown san diego are incredible and the care and exactness of the headstones is impressive.
