The ground are immaculate. The views are stunning. You can see the bay and the ocean. You might get teary eyed knowing how many people died in service to our country...of course many lived to a ripe old age.

This is a beautiful tribute to those that have served our country. The peace and serenity is so calming to the soul. I hope that everyone will visit a military cemetary in their lifetime. These are very special places that make your heart realize how important these souls were to our country

You pass right through Fort Rosecrans Cemetary on your way to Cabrillo National Monument to have fun and enjoy the sights, sounds of the ocean. The cemetary is on both sides of the street. Stop and drive through or walk through and share your gratitude with those that have sacrificed all for our safety and freedom. We saw head stones from 1846 and up. God bless them all. 🇺🇸
