Previous reviews say it all... It's clean but it's old as hell. Especially on the outside. Time to tear it down and start over. I can see why professional sports teams don't want to stay in this city... The city itself is beautiful and has a fairly modern infrastructure. But the sports facilities have totally been forgotten.

Saw the Gulls game last night. Good game but they lost. Boo hoo. Anyhow, as for the arena. Getting there by car is pretty easy. Not sure about public transportation, and I sure has heck wouldn't walk there. The "neighborhood" surrounding the arena is beyond eclectic (strip bars and massage parlors among other businesses). We parked on site. Expect to... More

Getting into the parking lot was awful, but the traffic in the compound was well managed. Watched a Gulls game there, great fun, excellent value

This place is tough to get into and out of the parking lot as are most venues. The facilities are a little run down but for the most part clean. The men's room was made available to women by curtaining off the urinals and allowing use of the toilets. BTW: There was a line for the men's room!!!!! We were... More

I went to Madonna's concert and I liked the VIP area very much, the treatment was OK, I actually thought that we were going to be treated in a better way due to the amount of money that we paid for the VIP packages. It was organized, the buffet was good. I dislike the bathrooms, they were a bit dirty.... More

We saw Garth Brooks in concert this weekend. The staff was friendly but this place is clearly outdated. We had good seats because it's a pretty small venue but the sound wasn't great. The prices for sodas and such was pretty comparable and the seats were comfortable. I'd recommend staying at a nearby hotel to avoid paying for parking.

This is s run down, rat trap of an arena. Built in the late 60s, everything is bad. Design, flow, bathrooms, seats. You don't have a choice, though as this is where most concerts play. Embarrassed for San Diego

I was part of a group of five who attended the LA Lakers and Golden State Warriors pre-season game at Valley View Casino Center on October 17. Part way through the third quarter it was announced that the game was being canceled due to the condition of the floor. There was ice under the basketball court for the San Diego... More

some of the reviews here are misplaced, as reviewers have confused this with the Valley View casino/hotel, which is much farther north. Anyway, we saw Sam Smith here and had a great time. Traffic was a pain, naturally, but the $20 parking is well organized and directed. Helpful staff. They could use better air conditioning inside, but the seats are... More

The show was incredible and the venue sounded great and the service and guest services were on top of it. And the Stella Lounge is incredible.
