A really fun thing to do while in San Diego. It gives you a chance to experience San Diego from the Bay on a larger boat. The people that worked for Hornblower were both nice and professional which made the tour very enjoyable. A big...More

Booked this at the last minute (3 hours before the boat left) during a San Diego trip with my 2 older sons. This is definitely a cruise for couples, and not for families, even those with older children. The dinner was good, not spectacular, but...More

Ultimately, it all boils down to whether you can get a seat on the top deck on the outside They are the best seats in the house, bar none.. But by the time you board and make your way forward to them, it's more than...More

The Hornblower is a wonderful way to get an overview of the San Diego skyline, the naval yard, Shelter Island, Corondo, the Coronado Bridge and a great source of interesting facts about the harbor and marine life like sea lions that inhabit the water and...More

There are so many things to see and do in San Diego, that this harbor cruise out on the water was a nice reprieve from "all that." We took the two-hour cruise, and found it scenic and informative. There are plenty of highlights, but the...More

This cruise (there are one-hour and two-hour versions, plus sunset/dinner cruises that leave from a different dock) was adequate, but far from outstanding. It gave my husband and me a good view of the San Diego skyline, the ships that make up the San Diego...More

Hi Lisa! We appreciate your feedback and we're sorry to hear you weren't completely satisfied with your experience. We hope you'll give us another chance, possibly on one of our other cruise options (Whale Watching, Sights & Sips Cocktail Cruise?).

Nice water tour of San Diego at night. With all the fees, taxes, service charges etc it became a bit pricey (2 x $79.85 tickets ended up costing $205.74), but is a good dinner cruise. Bit of a lineup waiting for boarding, then usual boarding...More

Great tour. Narration was what puts it over the top. I feel I understand the city better afterwards. Budweiser on board for $4 doesn't hurt. Do this on your first day in town.

The boat was clean and the crew was friendly. The two hour cruise is split in to two trips, but it's well worth the wait. They also have a dinner cruise, that we hope to take next trip.

Although an almost full boat, there was still enough room to move around and get some good photos. Beverages and snacks available onboard.

That really depends on the weather - which, of course, you want to check on the day you're going out. Keep in mind that the seas are calmer in the mornings, and the afternoon the winds tend to pick up quite a bite. No... More
