Did a 2 hour cruise of the harbor with friend who were in town for vacation. The sites on the cruise were great...would have loved to have gone even further than we did...but I understand the time constraints. The 1st mate, who was narrating, was...More

Went on a 1:30 whale watching cruise in March. The volunteers from the museum were very friendly and knowledgeable. As we cruised out into the ocean, the staff gave us a lot of information about the Navy that was interesting. We didn't get to see...More

What a fun evening cruise. Food was a bit slim but we had a blast drinking the night away. The fog came in but we didn't mind it was still a ton of fun!

The cruise itself was very nice. A trip around the entirety of San Diego harbor and bay with complimentary Champaign and hors d'oeuvres with music playing and commentary from the ships captain on the local sites. (It can become quite windy) the only reason for...More

We had a group of about 65 for a dinner cruise of the harbor. It was delightful--outstanding service, excellent food and drinks, wonderful tour of the harbor by a friendly and capable Captain. We highly recommend Hornblower for any type of event--they came through for...More

This two hour cruise around San Diego Harbor was a waste of time. The first hours's narrator only wanted to talk about the beer and parties he had attended in the area. The ads talked up seeing sea lions, and we saw a few for...More

Was excited to go on brunch cruise. Everything went well till we got on the cruise. We got the worst table on the ship and poor service. My husband had to go get my coffee. We were invisible. No service no tip.

My wife and I were visiting from the UK and decided to take a Harbour Tour. We opted for the longer combined North/South Trip and really enjoyed it. The guides were strong and informative, there's lots to see and the facilities on board are excellent....More

This cruise keeps inside the large San Diego Harbor and so it is quite a smooth 90 minute trip. It goes under the Coronado Bridge and passes many US Navy vessels and it gives passengers a good view of the spectacular SD skyline. Recommended.

I am wanting to surprise my husband with a whale watching tour when we go to San Diego in early April. Given April is the end of the migration season, which cruise time would be better - 9:30am or 1:30pm? Thank you in advance!!

That really depends on the weather - which, of course, you want to check on the day you're going out. Keep in mind that the seas are calmer in the mornings, and the afternoon the winds tend to pick up quite a bite. No... More
