My wife and stayed 5 nights in San Diego the last week of July and included in our plans was to attend a Padres game. While we are devoted Blue Jay fans, sadly while our stadium (Rogers Centre) is a decent enough venue, it is not a true ball park so we were really looking forward to going to Petco... More

Took the 12:30 tour on a Saturday afternoon. The knowledgeable guides took our group through the groundskeepers' area, the visitors' clubhouse, the field, home dugout, VIP season ticket-holders area, press booth and Western Metal Supply building. Great photo ops throughout the tour. Well-worth the price for a baseball fan.

Conveniently located near several independent parking lots and restaurants. The stadium looks new and clean with many tasty food everywhere and stores to shop (except, I'm not a Padres fan). Seats are also clean and the general ambience is good. Although I'm not a Padres fan (can't stress this enough!), we'd come back to watch a game if we happened... More

Of all the stadiums we've visited, this is the besT. It's large , clean, bubbling, integrated into the city with lots of great looking food. Sight lines are fabulous even when you are up,high. The ambiance of the place with eclectic architecture adds to it.

Easy to navigate. Prices are reasonable, considering it is a sporting event. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. The escorts are friendly and courteous.

We did a tour of Petco Park mainly because the Padres were not in town while we were there. It was an interesting tour that gave behind the scene facts that you would not otherwise get. We were impressed with how the stadium was built with the future in mind. Our tour guide was very passionate about "her" Padres and... More

Very nice ball park. Right in the gaslamp district. If you are staying downtown it is very easy to get to.

Phillies 4 - Padres 4, Friday, August 7th, we went to the game. Phillies score all four runs on solo homeruns and win it in the 12th. Great game for a Phillies fan.

We enjoyed our time there. Very beautiful and well kept. Great views of San Diego and there's not a bad seat in the house.

I've been to about 20 MLB parks and heard great things about this one...but not so much. The warehouse setup in left field was cool but it was super-difficult to get around, terrible signage and circulation. We went around the whole stadium to get to our seats (partly because ticket said right field but turned out to be left). Props... More
