This place holds some of my fondest memories. Every year, I would walk with my softball team around the field and stay to watch the game cheering till our voices were gone! I love it!!!

A must see, even if you're not a baseball fan, the park in the park is a splendid place on the edge of the chaos of the Gaslamp Quarter. It's also guarded so you don't have to worry. Even open on non-game days, but closes...More

This is one of the nicest stadiums to catch a ballgame. Though I am an Angels fan, I like to visit other stadiums, and this is definitely one of the best. They did an amazing job of building the stadium into the historical buildings already...More

We have gone to many ball games there on different days of the week. Food is good. Not always healthy but how can you turn down a foot long Polish Dog at a ball game or Taco's on Tue.

I don't do baseball, but after seeing the completed park we decided to go to a game. It was sold out, but there was a $5 sitting area where you could stand or sit on the grass and watch the game, visit with friends, have...More

I always like to see what other teams have for ballparks, and how they compare against Fenway Park (our home field). My family was very impressed with Petco and consider it a highlight of our San Diego trip. The amenities, terrific sightlines, food service and...More

Our tour guide was informative and personable. Great experience and way to see a gorgeous ballpark! Highly recommend this inexpensive tour. $38 for two people- lasted about an hour and a half.

Is it safe to walk to Petco Park (and back to my hotel) for an evening game? I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown which doesn't look too far from Petco. Thanks!

We have done this option before from the same hotel and I would say walking to the game in the early evening is OK but after the game I would walk out to the Gaslamp area and get a cab. The walk to the park is all downhill... More
Hi. Coming from New Zealand and want to take my kids to a game. I see that they have lots of kid events on the Sunday but do they normally have good crowds on those days? Or are Fridays and Saturdays normally the busiest? (they are playing the Marlins when we are there). Thanks

Sunday would be fine. It's never too crowded. I prefer afternoon games. Have a wonderful time in San Diego.
Hi, will there be any games on at the beginning of November? Thanks in advance 😊

The season may be over but they still offer tours of the ballpark twice a day. Once at 10:30 and again in the afternoon. I believe it's $15 per person.
