We enjoyed our game. It was a beautiful afternoon game and was not crowded. Easy to get to the park. We thought we were going cheap with seats up high--the views were great! Food was expensive. Location was great as far as walking to other stuff afterwards.

The ballpark is beautiful. The seating were comfortable and spacious and the food was the best ball park food I have ever had.

Went here with a group of pals as we thought while being in America we had to do baseball. Turned out to be a big game and 43,000 people were there, and it was military appreciation day too. Which meant the whole place was massively patriotic, which just added to the atmosphere. The game was interjected by mini events going... More

This was our first visit to Petco Park. The food and beverage venue is quite extensive. Lines can be long so give yourself time before the game. The stadium looks great. Go Padres!!!

This is what a baseball park in downtown should be. The Padres have put together a top notch facility with great food and service. It's a great date night, family night, group out and more. Lots of great bars with Deep Eddy Vodka too. The large canned beer ShockTop in 24 ounce but no cup was annoying. IPA and Bud... More

This is a gem. Easy access from a number of Gaslamp District hotels. We stayed and Gaslamp Marriott, adjacent to park. San Diego fans very friendly even when you support opposing team!

Incredible setting for baseball and other fun. Views of the harbor and south to Mexico. Wide array of traditional (dogs, burgers) and non-traditional food (fish tacos, sushi), place to play in the Park in the Park. Close to the Gaslamp Quarter for more food and fun. And you might even enjoy the baseball. Great sight lines all around.

OK OK, it's a ball park and the beer and food are a little overpriced, but compared to LA and SF it's still a bargain night out. There is a great variety of food from Lucha Libre and Miguel's (Prime Mexican) to Hodad's burgers to Phil's BBQ and a whole bunch in-between. Healthy? Yeh they have that too. Kale salad... More

The stadium is lovely and the city backdrop stunning. There is a wide range of things to eat there (much better than you see at many UK stadiums). The baseball is entertaining and there are various things like the roving cameras to keep it jolly and fun. A brilliant night out which the children loved.

Being English we did not really have much of an idea what baseball is all about particularly the scoring. Despite that we had a great time and it was a very enjoyable experience and would be repeated when we went to Washington later in the year. The food was very good and plentiful. The fireworks at the end of the... More
