First of all, the rooftop deck is awesome if it is a pretty day. We enjoyed the tuna nachos and the coffee rubbed steak - which was really, really nice! The service is wonderful, the prices very fair, and the setting charming.

PB Alehouse is, or used to be, one of the better choices for casual yet decent cuisine in low key casual Mission Beach. The fish and chips were -- WERE - wonderful, with large pieces of fresh, moist fish in a lightly beer battered crust....More

Good food, good service, and a great roof-top seating area. We were there for brunch. My girlfriend had the SoCal benedict and I had biscuits & gravy. We both really enjoyed our meals. They also have a large beer and drink menu.

We gathered a group for lunch and enjoyed the outside dining. Informal place with good burgers, tots, and fish and chips. I really liked the spicy Bloody Mary. Large portions and great service added to a nice meal.
