Great views of the bay passing by green space, stores and restaurants. Easy to navigate and great to do at any time of the day.

The walkway along the bay is very long. It is a beautiful spot though...you can see the bay and the ships. There are shops along the way and restaurants as well. You get to see some local flavor, too. The day we were there they...More

Can walk, jog or cycle from near the airport to the far end of the bay. Plenty of seating. Lots to do and see along the way.

Arrived here via an Old Town Trolley Tour and set off in the afternoon to find lunch. The bayfront walk is gorgeous and the scenery wonderful, with sculptures, buskers including a great jazz player, restaurants and places to sit - a marvellous way to spend...More

Lovely to walk along the Bay, seeing the military and sail ships. Great views and a relaxed atmosphere. It was not very built up, so not many opportunities for a drink or ice cream.

Nice walk to avoid the main streets, lots of cute shopping stores at the end which I enjoyed. Entertaining for people watching, good way to get from one end to the other.

Tough to answer such a general question. It truly depends on what you like. Also the purpose of the visit may predetermine the locale. Generally speaking you cannot go wrong with Glasslamp district hotels. You will be where... More

You can drive along the San Diego Bay Walk. This part is right downtown, so there is no beach. There are marinas, ships, shopping, and museums. No beach. Other parts of the entire San Diego Bay might be more drivable, but... More

No maps required. Just go to the bay and walk along the side of it and you will see it all
