I've been a resident of San Diego County for 36 years and this has been MY NUMBER ONE choice for taking adventurous visitors on a hike to the ocean. Not the easiest route if you are coming to surf or just to swim, but to wander through the dirt paths barefoot, twisting through Torrey pines, oak scrub, manzanita and those... More

Best way to spend a evening in San Diego. Beautiful cliffs, very nice view. My kids love it so it's not only for adult, kids can enjoy it too. Especially you never see sunset at ocean, it's worth it. You can go for walk on pathway while enjoying sunset or simply sit down on rock and enjoy.

as its name suggests, it is a good place for sunset. plenty of parking, usually not that crowded. interesting cliff formations, good place for photography. be careful when you walk around the park, since i have read at least two incidents of people falling to their death when walking and looking at their phones.

These cliffs offer an incredible view of the ocean and the sunset, hence the name! You should take precaution when walking around near the edge of the cliffs, but there are many little paths to some incredible picture-taking sights!!! We found parking right on the side of the cliffs, but after the show is over, get ready for a traffic... More

beautiful place!! must see its stunning. Go for an early morning walk before it gets too hot. The sunrise and sunset there are picturesque so make sure you take photos. Also there was a lot of people cliff jumping in the afternoon its not really allowed I believe but it was good fun and not too high.

Be careful if you go, especially if you have little kids. The sunsets are amazing but there are no buffers at the edge of the cliffs. Pay attention.

We went to watch the famed California sunset from the Sunset Cliffs. There were several young people jumping off the cliffs into the water. The sunset is worth seeing from here. I was able to do some Yoga Asanas facing the setting sun.

The beautiful textures of this area make fantastic photo opportunities. We missed the routinely phenomenal sunsets because there was cloud cover for the several hours we waited.

It's the place you have to go in San Diego, special to see the sunset. You can bring some food and enjoy the view and vibration.
