There may be a lot of beaches in San Diego, but there are not a lot of sea cliffs you can check out! This is one of our favorite spots, in a short visit to the area you should also check out The Cabrillo Lighthouse/monument, Ocean Beach, and Hodad's, but the uniqueness of this site is something every nature lover... Nice view from the ocean cliffs. Nice drive along the ocean. Good spot to stop and take some photos.

Incredible views of the coast and a fun place to hike around. Could be a great place to take older kids, but little ones need to be supervised. Tricky to find entrance; we went through the Point Loma University, but there must be another way. Different than the beach, but good experience.

The sunset here is kinda ethereal. All the people come out of the cliffs and stop moving and stare until the sun disappears behind the sea. Its gorgeous, peaceful and beautiful!

Stopped by with friends and just loved the views. Beautiful. Great picture opportunities. I probably would of stopped and go food first and sat and ate it there while enjoying the view.

We spent an evening before, during and after sunset. I love sunsets, so this was a highlight of the trip. People were picnicking, taking family pictures and enjoying every minute. A must if you are in San Diego!

I've been a resident of San Diego County for 36 years and this has been MY NUMBER ONE choice for taking adventurous visitors on a hike to the ocean. Not the easiest route if you are coming to surf or just to swim, but to wander through the dirt paths barefoot, twisting through Torrey pines, oak scrub, manzanita and those... More

Best way to spend a evening in San Diego. Beautiful cliffs, very nice view. My kids love it so it's not only for adult, kids can enjoy it too. Especially you never see sunset at ocean, it's worth it. You can go for walk on pathway while enjoying sunset or simply sit down on rock and enjoy.

as its name suggests, it is a good place for sunset. plenty of parking, usually not that crowded. interesting cliff formations, good place for photography. be careful when you walk around the park, since i have read at least two incidents of people falling to their death when walking and looking at their phones.
