We stayed right on the water and it was perfect! The cliffs are terrific to walk, run or hike along the water - and you can see whales and sea lions and all other kinds of wildlife. My favorite stay in San Diego yet!

I love coming here every few weeks to soak in nature and unwind. It has amazing views and I usually find parking within a few minutes.

Outstanding, I never knew about all the sights in Point Loma and Cabrillo. The views are amazing and some very nice hiking trails exist, that'll take you to some remote beaches. I've been coming to San Diego for thirty years and finally found this hidden gem. It's worth the venture.

We stopped in here while waiting for Cabrillo National Monument to open. Erosion has many areas off limits, for good reason, but it makes it a little hard to navigate. Beautiful views of surfers, nice surf breaks, and coastal birds.

This place is awesome to come and relax after a day of any kind of stress. It's Romantic and suitable for anyone who won't fall off the cliff!

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park is a phenomenon because it has a rugged, "country" feeling but is part of the city of San Diego. My husband, a travel photographer, and I often go there and have written about it at whereiscookie.com We love to picnic here, perched above the ocean, and have often seen whales and even islands including Catalina. Beautiful space! Loved the scenery. Can't wait to return and hike the tougher trails. Very peaceful and quiet.

We stopped by while wandering around San Diego. We had our 4-year old granddaughter with us. The views were great, but it's on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Not a place where I would let a child wander.

The views are great and you can do some decent exploring along the cliffs and a few small beach areas. Unlike La Jolla and Mission beach you can usually find some places to park and get out for some pictures.

Amazing view! Beautiful and free. We stop and visit each time we come to San Diego. Can be crowded at times but plenty of space for everyone.
