Along with the other reviews on here, I will echo the disorganization. Factor in the Covid-19 and it can take some patience going anywhere. Fortunately we were staying in a rental a short walk from the Sportcenter. Tons of people were circling the parking lot looking for a place to park. There was a junior lifeguard program at the same time and because it was summer (pandemic or not) it was super busy. There are requests to wear face masks (but some people did not) and to maintain social distancing (some people did not). We didn't see them wipe our pontoon boat but we brought our own wipes and did it ourselves. We we docked, they hopped right on board and wiped everything down so that was reassuring. The two hour rental is plenty long. We were able to cruise around most of the bay in that time. There was some confusion as the map they gave us indicated an area we could go in, as long as we went counter clock wise. We got there and there were several signs saying "Personal water craft only" and we did not see any other boats so we turned around. The boats are basic. No sound system or cup holder areas. It's fine if you bring your own food and drink and life jackets are provided for all with youngsters required to wear them the entire time. Beware, the vending machines are completely empty (and will eat your money) and there is currently no where to get anything to drink or eat to take out with you. We have previously rented from here and hopefully once the virus is gone, things will be better organized. Perhaps an adult or two is needed.

Our Malarky Catarmaran boat ride was amazing! My family enjoyed every second of it. Staff was amazing! Boat was clean. Everything went smooth. We can’t wait to book again!

Maybe its good for tourists, but if you are a local I would not recommend going here. I tried booking 2 hours ski boat rental online, but their system does not allow you to book 2 hours at 5pm (even thought the close at 7p) so the person said at the desk I only paid for 1 hour but "technically" get two (I told them if needed I am ok paying for 2 hours because this is what we planned). When I arrived there (30 min early) this was very confusing and poorly communicated and had to reconfirm this. Afterwards we had to wait and extra 20 minutes into our 2 hours to get the boat back in and ready, and mentioned we still had to come back at 7. We had 6 in our group, and because they were so disorganized they gave us what was there (a 60hp boat) which was not enough to even move us around. The group before us had gotten on a 90 HP boat and only had 2 people in their group. The manager mentioned they had messed up and usually try to get the to accommodate group size and size of boat motors rented. False advertising on their website when renting the Ski boats and what you actually get. Would not recommend there are dozens of other boat rental services in mission bay which are more organized and you actually get what is advertised and paid for.

This is a great, small business renting all sorts of watercraft (I rented a catamaran sailboat.) They have paddle-boards, jet-skis, paddle boats, kayaks, regular sailboats, etc. The catamaran was perfect, easy to sail, fast, quiet and relaxing. I made 4-5 passes up and down the length of the bay during the ~ 90 minutes I was out. (quick safety note to adventurers: you do need a little sailing experience to sail a sailboat...) It was cool, sunny, and a blast... The folks at check-in are always nice, and with a reservation (made at least 1 full day in advance!) you can walk right up and get signed in and get moving! The dock staff are easy-going and helpful, and everybody is friendly. -- Two bits of advice: 1) wear a mask (it's for everybody else's health & safety - be considerate), and they currently them. 2) Leave time for parking (which can be tight!) - best bet is to have one person check in while the other stalks the parking lot waiting for other guests to depart.

We rented the malarkey catamaran for a 4 hour charter and had an amazing time! The boat was very clean and spacious and I cannot say enough good things about the captains Trevor and Mitch. We booked another charter immediately when we got home because we had so much fun. Can’t wait to do it again!
