Great experience overall. We rented from the Mission Bay location. We got the Sylvan 18’ for a family of two adults and 3 kids under 10. We thought the Vectra would be a bit small and didn’t have a top to block out the sun. Day of we called to see if any powerboats were available and asked to see them in person.. we dropped by at about 11:20 am and booked for 12-2pm the same day. Grabbed some food, came back, used the restroom, got fitted up with life jackets and went out to the dock.. hadn't driven a boat in years so the crew going over instructions/pre-outing checklist was a bit nerve wracking. They make you look at the motor rotor thing before and after you come back to check for damage... so I took pictures both times just for my own sake anyway and I had also purchased Boat Incidental Damage Waiver insurance for $29.. We left the dock into the Mission Bay and it was all fun after that.. came back and docked and checked out... I called the following week to understand the charges.. dude on the phone was cool and explained. I knew up front there was a fuel charge.. my suggestions is to have it itemized on the PEEK email receipt so there’s no confusion.. overall everything was good and I would suggest this place to friends visiting SD and I personally would rent here again.…

I chartered a Catalina 270 with Capt Josh for a 3-hour sail. We had The Best Time. Capt Josh is awesome. One of the best captains I ever sailed with. I highly recommend chartering a boat with Seaforth and can’t say enough about Capt Josh.

Being on Mission Bay is a lovely experience. But this rental company leaves much to be desired. We were the first boat out of the day. It was clear the boat hadn’t been cleaned since the day before. There was some sort of sticky residue on both sides of the dash and the seats were dirty. The boat in general was in disrepair - ripped seats, stains, a zip tie being used as the hull storage handle. When we returned to the dock at the end of our rental time, there were no employees outside to help us dock. It was windy and we had to use the paddle to prevent hitting the dock and other boats. I yelled for help but no one heard us. Finally I was able to flag down an employee and we were able to dock. When I mentioned it to the person inside who seemed like a manager, he just shrugged it off. We will definitely not be using this rental company again.…

Hi, I had a two-day visit to San Diego for a vacation with my family. Everything was awesome except a rental powerboat from this company which was the worst part of my trip. I will never rent boats from this company due to: 1- Terrible Cancelation policy 2- Overbooking Issues 3- Disrespectful behavior of personnel. 1- I rented a powerboat early morning on May,14,21. A couple of hours later (2-3 Hrs) when I decided to call and cancel my reservation. They did not accept it and I was told I should let them know three days in advance. (which was not possible since I had reserved it the same day, so I decided to use the powerboat) 2-Later that day, When I was standing in the line to get the boat, I noticed some people were getting reimbursed and looked very angry. I asked one of them about the issue and I was told that there were not enough boats for them, and THE COMPANY HAS OVERBOOKED BOATS. 3-The main reason I am writing this review is because of the Disrespectful behavior of personnel. When I was trying to slow down and stop the boat on my way back to the dock. One of the disgraced personnel who was dressed in black, and I did not know his name began to use very offensive and shameful words telling me that my boat speed was high. I was with my family and I didn’t want to teach my kids the wrong behavior Being spoken so terribly by this employee, made me incredibly uncomfortable and made my family feel unsafe. I highly suggest you find another company.…

Great boat rental and excellent service. It was an unforgettable evening with amazing sunset views. With the pandemic, there's not a lot of open air activities that are still operating. Sunset cruise from Seaforth is definitely one of the best outdoor activities now. With fantastic view of the bay of San Diego and the mesmerizing sunset scenery, we had a lot of funs. Starting from embarking the boat, our skipper was super friendly. He tried to accommodate all of our needs and gave us extra 15 minutes cruise time. He brought us to the bay and went through the Coronado bridge. While going through the bridge we had one of most speculate sunset views. With the bridge as the forth ground, we took so many stunning sunset pictures. We also were able to see the navel base from a distance. I was awed by the awesome warships on display. So proud to be an American. As we coming back from the bay cruise, with the sun disappeared into darkness, the beautiful skyline of downtown San Diego lit up. Another picture taking opportunity for us. Overall, this was an awesome evening for all of us. Thank you Seaforth for giving us an amazing evening. Parking was easy as Seaforth rental area has its own parking lot. But the cost was a bit high.…
