A real life “Thar she blows!” adventure. If you don’t see a whale you get a free chit for another ride. I think maybe they would steam halfway to Alaska to prevent that happening. We did finally locate a small pod moving north, which we followed for a reasonable amount of time before turning to “steam” back to port. The... More

There are two one-hour cruises around the different ends of Coronado Island and you may take one or both. It was a delightful experience with a wonderful narrator named Cade who gave us historical information that we had never known. We sat out on the deck of the stern and it was perfect (use sunscreen), but it also has indoor... More

We took the evening harbor cruise and supper. Beautiful prime rib supper. took off at 6:30, back at 9:30, got to see the bay during sunset and all the ships then when coming back in everything's lit up. If your going to have more then 3 drinks buy the drink package. Check with your hotel concierge for deals. Great for... More

Food was OK - you have to choose meat, fish or vegetarian when making reservations - and there is no choice or description of entrees. I opted for seafood and the entree was salmon, by which time I was sick of. After consultation, was allowed to change to a steak which was edible. This is a 2/1/2 hr cruise including... More

Saw a whale (and on the last trip of the season), lots of dolphins, and great scenery. Drinks from the bar were strong, and unlike a lot of these sorts of boat tours I've been on, nice roomy restrooms with lots of stalls.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. Did a surprise trip to San Diego for a quick get away for my daughter and her friend and I didn't tell them we were doing this. They thought we were doing a Harbor tour. When we went to board, they were in "OMG" mode.... we weren't even half way through the experience and one said so... More

We went on a wonderful Whale Watching trip this morning. We brought 25 children out to hopefully catch the sight of a whale. It was a fabulous experience. The crew was absolutely great. They were so helpful and a wealth of information. We saw a very active whale, many playful dolphins and sea lions. It was well worth the money... More

We decided to take the 1:30 cruise at the last minute. We booked it on Groupon and then called to reserve our spot. When we boarded the Captain explained there 5' swells and warned anyone that may get sea sick to get some medicine. He again warned everyone as we were pulling out of dock. By the time we reached... We took whale watching, 3.5 hours outside of the San Diego harbour. We were able to see several grey whales and the interpreters are very knowledgeable and informative. They answered many questions from our kids and made it quite enjoyable. My only suggestion is to not go with a school group. There was a large group of high-school students who... More

I came to San Diego and made my friend driveway from LA to do touristy things with me. We did the dinner cruise our first night and the brunch cruise the next day(I love boats of you can't tell and prefer all meals on the water). The dinner was okay- we both had steaks and got the unlimited drinks pass... More
