We had such an amazing time on this Brew Hop tour! I really wanted to go to the Stone Brewery and we headed there first. We arrived early and were able to try some new beers before our tour began. We went to two other breweries that were new to me and I loved them as well! Our guide was able to answer all of our questions and gave us great suggestions on other places to go visit and great restaurants close to the area where we were staying. I definitely recommend this tour to all of my friends visiting San Diego.

We booked our Brew Hop tour months before our trip to San Diego, and Summer was giving us options of amazing restaurants and things to do before we even got there.
We were picked up in a Lincoln Navigator and driven to 4 breweries that Summer had chosen specifically for us, based on our preferences. Each one was outstanding and unique!
Throughout the day, Summer and her partner Lane, taught us about craft beers and breweries, and were each a wealth of knowledge. We were all quite impressed.
The four of us felt like VIPs that day because we were treated as such.
Brew Hop is a must do when in San Diego!

My boyfriend and I visited San Diego last week and in preparation for my trip I did extensive research on the best brewery tour. Brew Hop had awesome reviews and they are right! Our tour guide Tony was awesome - we were greeted by our own private SUV with beer to share for our ride out to Miramar. We had two breweries we wanted to see and left the other two up to Summer and her team to choose. Every brewery was awesome! Tony was so knowledgable, brought us the best beer selection and really helped make the experience amazing.

If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind way to experience San Diego's breweries, definitely choose Brew Hop!

We wanted to visit a few craft breweries, but we didn't want to drive or go on a coach tour. Summer very helpfully arranged a private tour with a guide/driver. We visited Stone, Lost Abbey and Ballast Point. (The breweries that you visit can be tailor made to your own preference.)

The guide was a really friendly guy who was very knowledgable and happy to chat. Lots of tastings, a tour of a brewery and some shopping. Prefect afternoon.

It you are looking for a personalized custom brewery tour in San Diego, look for further. My husband and I took two tours with Brew Hop in January 2015. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend it to all craft beer lovers visiting the San Diego area. We were able to pick our own breweries and Summer made some great recommendations based on our tastes as well. Our guide for both tours was Tony, he was wonderful, very knowledgeable and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed both of our tours and will definitely use Brew Hop again on our next visit. Thank you, Summer and Tony, for great service and an amazing San Diego brewery experience!

Wow, what a great find on Trip Advisor! My husband and I were visiting San Diego last month and were worried about how we would get to see some of the amazing local breweries in the areas surrounding the city. As you can imagine, we enjoy sampling the delicious products that these breweries produce and this leads to the inevitable question: "who gets to DD"? Brew Hop came to the rescue! It was just the two of us on a tour with the fabulous tour guide, Summer. We corresponded easily in the weeks leading up to our visit, and we decided to visit Stone, Lost Abbey/Port Brewing, and Ballast Point (green flash was not open on the day of our tour). All three breweries were excellent, ranging from large and modern to more low-key. All of the beer we tried was delicious; Summer acted as our beer selector for the day, and did not steer us wrong. She did push us out of our comfort zone with some big Belgians at Lost Abbey, but we thanked her for it after. She knew lots about the brewing process, the quirky stories about why beers had certain names, and interesting history about the breweries. FYI, the vehicle is licensed, so we were able to buy beer at the breweries and take it with us to keep or to drink. Brew hop, thank you so much for an awesome day that was certainly a highlight for this beer-loving couple! Cheers!

Our group of 4 had a terrific experience with Brew Hop, visiting 3 breweries selected by us - Stone, Lost Abbey, and Green Flash. We had a very fun, relaxing time, with our excellent guide Brad (himself a home brewer) and driver Marcus. We sampled plenty of fantastic beers and learned a thing or two as well. Highly recommended, and we will do it again on our next visit to San Diego.

Class act company. Lars provided an outstanding tour of some of the best San Diego breweries - Stone, Lost Abbey/Port, and Alesmith. He was a great tour guide who provided lots of insights into the brewing industry, got us more than enough samples, and put up with our endless questions and nonsense.

Looking forward to doing it again soon. Give Lars or Summer a call and set up your tour today. Not to be missed.

My brother was getting married and is a lover of micro beer so a tour of some of San Diego's finest breweries was in store. A friend of a friend recommended we try Brew Hop.

Summer and her staff were very professional to deal with when setting up the tour, answered all my questions, asked the right questions to make sure the tour was tailored correctly for the group, and overall just really nice people.

Brew Hop picked us up at our hotel and the tour began. Our first stop was Stone Brewing which had a magnificant facility, we were given a private tour, and then escorted to our own area for a private tasting. Brew Hop staff was very knowledgeable of the stone products and even got us some tastings of some special beers!

Next stop was Green Flash and included a personal favorite of mine the Imperial IPA. Green Flash is a smaller brewery compared to Stone but it was a cool place for us to visit and taste a wide variety of drinks.

Last stop was Port/Lost Abbey and by this time our group was having a lot of fun! They had a special release beer that day but I cant recall the name correctly. Port's location is the original home of Stone Brewery for all the micro brew history buffs!

Overall when looking for a tour go with Brew Hop, they have connections, take care of their customers, and as a group we had a total blast.

I was in charge of setting up a Bachelor Party for my best friend, who wanted everyone to meet in San Diego. He was NOT interested in a crazy Bachelor party, but he wanted a group of 8 close friends to hang out and do something unique. I had heard from some friends that live in San Diego about Brew Hop and it sounded like a fun tour. The idea of Brew Hop is to tour San Diego's underground, So-Cal micro-brewery scene. Our group of friends like good beer, and most of us had never been on any type of Brewery tour before.

We got picked up in a nice Limo on Saturday afternoon around 3:30pm (Brew Hop gets discounted Limo's for groups over 6...we got it included in our tour package), and decided to do their 3 hour tour trip (they had a 3 hour or 5 hour to available). Our tour guide was one of the Brew Hop owners, Larz. He's a funny, energetic guy "on top" of the San Diego growing Beer Scene, and was excited to get us to as many Breweries we could in our short time. He also got us a quick beer taste on the way out the door, and let us bring drinks in the car (which was kind of fun) We visited 3 breweries in total (Firehouse, Ballast, and San Diego Brew Co.) We had tours at 2 of them, and had Beer and appetizers at the third. My favorite by far was Firehouse. Great beers on tap, and really cool and knowledgeable Brew Master.

The 3 hours went by a little quick...considering the drive time and relaxed drinking at each brewery. We probably would have gone slower and been able to have a full tour at the 3rd Bar if we'd done the 5 hours, but this was my first "Beer Tasting" trip so I didn't know. Overall it was a fun time and a well organized tour. Would definitely do it again with a group of friends in San Diego. A fun way to see the city, visit the hugely growing Micro -Brew Scene, and do something a little off the beaten track.
