Enjoyed our wonderful tour guide who grew up in Tijuana. Delina speaks better English than I do. The tour itself had one detour since we did this on Christmas Eve when one of the places was closed. Not a prob, Bob! We had a backup plan and had great food at that place to boot. I recommend that you go with this company, Brewery Tours. Pick up the tour by The Local near The Grant Hotel. That way you can have a beer at The Local after the tour. We stayed in Little Italy, a fun walk (or mass transit train) to the pick up point.

This was a great tour! We visited three very good breweries and the tour guide was friendly and informative. The tour bus/van was comfortable, and the food at the last stop was good.

My brother, mother, and I were the only participants on the tour, so we got lots of one-on-one time with our very knowledgeable tour guide Delina. First stop was Amplified Aleworks with a view of the beach waves. All the tastings to choose from the brewery are gluten-free and had a wide variety, including some interesting fruity beers. At Pizza Port, we got our choice of a pint, side salad, and a slice of pizza. At Eppig we had a nice view of the wharf with another selection of tastings recommended by Delina. It was a great way to spend a weekday afternoon with no crowds and some sightseeing of the local neighborhoods.

Great brewery visits. I only call them visits, because they weren't "tours." My only complaint was that I had to inquire about a "tour." The tour guide knew a lot but didn't openly share his knowledge.

Visiting San Diego? Love craft beer? With over 100 craft breweries, I highly suggest going on a Brewery Tour. Brewery Tours of San Diego was our first adventure of the week and the ultimate way to get around town to try some fun and exciting beers at some killer breweries while making new friends. Choose from a variety of public tours or book a private tour for a special occasion! They have day and night tours every night of the week! Here are your tour options;
Brews & Views - this one is a morning tour offered Monday to Friday with visits to Amplified Pacific Beach, Pizza Port Ocean Beach an Eppig Waterfront Biergarten.
Hip Happy Hour - this one is an evening tour offered Monday to Friday with visits to Fall Brewing, North Park Beer and Mike Hess Brewing.
Saturday Champion - they have a morning or evening tour option with visits to Ballast Point Home Brew Mart, Coronado Knoxville St. and Karl Strauss Columbia St.
Sunday Afternoon - this one takes you a little further with some fun spots like Green Flash Brewing, Gravity Heights and Societe Brewing Company.
Each of the tours include transportation, a meal at one of the stops, all your tastings and a fun souvenir glass! Your driver is also your guide so they can teach you about the beer making process, give you suggestion of some great brews to try and they'll ensure you have a fun time with a designated driver!
 We went on the Saturday morning champion tour and it was amazing! We loved the swag at Ballast Point, the food at Karl Strauss but our fav was Coronado Brewing with a great location and amazing beers! We were joined by a couple and some ladies and by the last stop it was if we'd all been friends the whole time! I would definitely suggest trying a tour with them while your in San Diego. A must for sure!
