We enjoyed this tour so much. Paul Anthony picked up up at the designated time at our hotel. The van was comfortable, clean and easy to get in and out. He did a wonderful job of giving us some San Diego history on the way to the wineries. The choices of wines at the two wineries paired excellent with the food (charcuterie board at first winery and pizza at second). Had plenty of time to shop or just sit and enjoy the beautiful views at both wineries. I would highly recommend this tour because you can enjoy the experience and not have to worry about driving. You will not be disappointed and is well worth the cost. You can tell that precise planning is involved to keep you on the stated schedule.

Our tour with Paul Anthony was the best! Not the best wine I have ever had, but an amazing tour and day to spend! Paul Anthony was so kind and knowledgeable! I highly recommend this tour!

This mandatory $30 tip irked me from the moment I had to pay it. Why call it tip if it is mandatory? It would be better to just add it to the cost of the trip. Otherwise, it was nice overall. You get 3 glasses at the first winery, but a sample of 5 wines at the second winery (one ounce each), so I am not sure it qualifies as “a tasting”. I would summarize it by saying the first winery was about the wines, and the second was about the food: salad, pizza & one fat breadstick per person to dip into some marinara sauce. The group we had was pretty nice & we got to know each other a little bit, at times, hilariously too close after 3 big glasses of wine (divulging funny personal information no one would do if they were sober. Lol). The guide was fantastic: funny, knowledgeable & a good driver. I would not repeat the experience, but would go there independently to these wineries. The only plus of a trip like that, of course, is that you are driven by someone & can therefore drink without worrying about having to drive after.

Thank you for your review, and I'm sorry that we didn't delight you on all aspects, but really happy to see that you loved the guide, the wineries and the company. I wanted to take a moment to clarify a point about our tipping policy: We ask for tips during the booking process before the tour, because we know that our guests will have enjoyed the equivalent of a full bottle of wine by the time the tour is done, which can affect the tips given to our fantastic tour guide. No matter when we ask for them, tips are always discretionary and not ever required. Our partner wineries offer top-notch award-winning wines that we pair with large portions of delicious food (all included in your tour ticket price), and we ideally prefer to handle all financial matters early so our guests can relax and have fun the day of the tour. Thanks for joining us! Shira Bliss, owner

As wine lovers we thought this trip would be fun. We had no idea what to expect, but our tour guide Mark Anthony was fantastic. We went to 2 wineries, both unique in their own way. We made some fantastic friends now from the trip. Would recommend for sure to get out of the downtown area
