What more is to be said; if you are fan of sailing and of the America's cup, you can only enjoy sailing one of the America's cup boats, especially if that boat is a beautiful replica of the original schooner, and the organizer is not trying to fool the customer, which is not the case here. This is a unique... More

Amazing and Breathtaking. THE AMERICA did not disappoint. The crew was so professional and engaging with their conversation and knowledge of the ship. The weather in Beaufort, NC was perfect and we were able to sail at 7 knots for over an hour on a very nice sea. Hoisting the sails was a real treat as well. Thank you for... More

Along with my husband and two friends, we got to sail on America yesterday out of Beaufort, NC while the yacht was on the East Coast. It was a beautiful day and the experience was exceptional. Troy Sears, the co-owner and captain was very pleasant and provided history of the original schooner along with this replica that he has owned... More

Rode the America out of Beaufort, NC yesterday. Big beautiful ship with an attentive crew who appeared to love what they are doing. The passengers got to help raise the sails after we got going. We had beautiful weather, aside from not being paticulary windy, which enhanced the experience. A couple of nits to pick. Seating was a little tight.... More

We not only learned the true meaning of the word "Yacht", but actually experienced it aboard the replica of The America! This was a FUN boat ride (Look it up). The crew was on task and accommodating. The Captain relaxed at the helm as he took time to share with us her rich history. The original was built in 1851and... More

Because of a propeller problem we did not get to sail. Despite the disappointment we have to give them an outstanding rating. They kept us well informed of the problem and did everything they could to fix the problem. We were able to board the ship and see what a wonderful vessel she is.

Had a great sail on America in St Michaels, MD. Was originally scheduled for sailing on Labor day, but due to unforseen ride issues had to reschedule for Saturday. The Captain was quick to offer options for refunds or rebooking. When I finally got to sail it was amazing. The rebooked time coincided with the start of Log Canoe Sailing... More

It doesn't get much better than this. Saturday a group of sailing and history buffs were treated to a triple treat. We sailed on the America the replica of the 1851 sailing yacht while viewing the beautiful log canoe races on the Miles River. The triple of this treat was the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and their annual Boating Party... More

Just had a 2+ hour cruise on the America sailing out of St. Michaels, MD. The ship is beautiful and Captian Sears provided an excellent narrative (although you need to capture a seat close to him) of the history of the America as well as an overview of the Americas Cup, named after this vessel. The longer we sailed the... More

We went on the early sail on Wednesday out of Cape May. Our experience, unlike the one later that evening was superb. The crew was exceptionally accommodating, providing not only an educational experience but great stories about their experiences on this 15 month excursion that they are on. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys the seas by... More
