This was the first activity we did when we arrived in San Diego. It was okay, not great. The staff were friendly, but their schtick was well-rehearsed. The "tour" of the city was unremarkable. Once we got out onto the water, we had nice views of the city, but the seal lion viewing was mediocre. Sure, we saw some -... More

This tour was great fun. The Captain and First Mate were very entertaining, although you couldn't always hear them from the back. They turned what might have been an OK tour into a great tour. The information that they provide about the area and its history is really interesting, and they take you out on the water along the edge... More

We'd this tour on a last minute and had a small fun. The tour starts on seaport village, passing by harbour drive, and after some places goes to the San Diego bay, into the water, that was amazing. They ride for a long time where you can see the maritime army, some seals, a petrol station and some boats. After... More

We've seen the Seal Boats for years and always wanted to try. It was a lot of fun, especially for kids. The boat ride is very slow (5 MPH) and interesting. The guide also provides a narrated guide along the route (street) as well as in the bay. Take a jacket and blanket during fall and winter months. (The boat... More

Is it a bus? Is it a boat? Yes! It is both all wrapped up into one unique form of transportation. Captain Liz showed her concern for every person and was able to impart safety regulations with humor and seriousness, no monotone voice. Navigating both city streets and an ocean harbor is an unusual skill set, and she displays such... More

Tried to order tickets online for the discount as we needed to purchase eleven tickets. Online we weren't able to purchase so we went to the booth. The signs at booth stated the tours were all sold our for the day. We decided to wait in line and ask when the next tour was available. Miraculously there was one available... More

We went on this tour on Dec 21st. It was OK. I should have read the brochure more closely as I interpreted it as more of a city and bay tour, but it is pretty much only the bay. Pickup was convenient to our hotel (Grand Hyatt at Seaport village), but overall, I'm not sure I found a lot of... More

On the rare occasion in rains in SD as it did this week I had booked a Seal tour for my family. The Seal staff had blankets ready to go to keep us warm and when the rain started sideways they put the plastic sides down but they didn't work very well. In defense to the Seals, honestly 350 a...
