Great place to have a sunset walk

Great place to have that sunset-walk. A nice place to spend time with family and friends. There are nice restaurants and shops located in the area.

We took the trolley downtown and walked to The Fish Market, then wandered the waterfront afterwards. It's only a few blocks walk from both the Sante Fe depot and Seaport Village stations. There are many options of things to do. The U.S.S. Midway is there, along with Seaport Village, harbor cruise rides, street musicians, Anthony's restaurant, the new Carnitas Snack... More

Great place to walk, jog, picnic, sit and relax, or watch the boats and ships pass in the bay. There is usually some major event or activity at the park every weekend, and well worth the time to visit and enjoy

great place to walk or job ... I prefer to walk along the emebaradero in the early evening when the heat has died down and the sun is setting. early morning is good too ... middle of the day has lots of people (though that is a better time to wander the area if you want to browse at the... More

This area has improved since we last stayed in the area. The park area with water spray was added and seems to be very popular. They also had a movie one of the nights. The new buildings for the cruise companies and other businesses are nice. And the new broadway pier was used for the All Star Gala.

The Bayside/Harborside at the Embarcadero is one of the jewels of San Diego. This area, along Harbor Drive, extends from the north, just before the airport and the US Coast Guard Station, to the southern end by the Hilton. It encompasses Waterfront Park, Broadway Pier, Midway, Tuna Harbor Park w Unconditional Surrender statue, Seaport Village, the Embarcadero Marina North &... More

I like the view of San diego. You can also take a inexpensive ferry across. There are shops and food in this area too.

There is a little town with some shops and food pleases, but overall there is not much to see or do here. Good for a morning jog or the like.

Describing this area would be different depending on what you want to do. For us, a nice walk looking at the museum boats, the waterfront, the airplanes and the changing night sky was a treat. Avoiding bicycles, skateboards and finding a clean bench were the obstacles to enjoyment.
