Any trip to San Diego is not complete without seeing the Coronado Bridge. As a daily commuter across it for over 8 years, I sometimes forget what an iconic landmark it is until I see it in photos.

Sure the view is great but so is the view from the hotels downtown. a very busy road and there is no stopping on the bridge. Definitely a cool piece of San Diego / Coronado history but is it not a destination; it is a...More

While on the way to Coronado Island, if you take the Trolley you will get a chance to get a great picture. Super view of the bay and downtown San Diego.

We took a city tour and crossed over this bridge several times. It has an incredible view. We also learned that the barrier moves back and forth to allow more traffic to flow into Coronado Island or out.

You can't really see much going over the bridge and they have a lot of signs urging people not to jump off. It's a bit crowded at times.

It is a beautiful structure. It connects our thriving Downtown metropolis with beautiful Coronado. You can take the foot ferry, but the view from the bridge is spectacular.

We had never been over the bridge and decided we needed to drive across it. We drove over during daylight and return at sundown. The view was nice!

The view of the San Diego bay area is breathtaking ! And its Free, no toll to pay! Plan to visit the island for the day, visit the shops, grab lunch and leave time to walk awhile on the beaches.

Interesting little piece of history and fun to drive over if you have the time . Coronado is beautiful. We also saw it from the ferry and it has an interesting curve to it from underneath, plus it's free. No issue with traffic on a...More
