So no need really to actually be on it. You can drive on the bridge with your car on the way to Coronado anyway. Nice views and a nice drive.

This bridge are toll fee free , connecting San Diego with beautiful island of Coronado city. The view from the highest point , one side is skyline of downtown SanDiego. Other is US Naval base down to Tijuana, Mexico and pacific Ocean. I rode on trolley tour so it was open air with cold sea breeze , wonderful pictures. This... More

Unique vista of the Hotel Del Coronado, the Harbor, and the San Diego skyline. Brings back memories of being stationed at the Naval Amphibious Base -- except no more bridge tolls!

Drive to Coronado via this free bridge. Spectacular sweeping views of Coronado island, Pacific Ocean, Point Loma, downtown San Diego even all the way to Mexico on a clear day. Much to see and do in Coronado, but see other reviews for that.

The boys loved this bridge, took many pictures and said it felt like a rollercoaster ride as we were going over.

I am a second generation San Diegan, and no matter how many times I drive over it, I am awestruck! I love the view....The Coronado Kays, Coronado, and the Pacific Ocean with La Jolla in the background You just can't get any better than that! There really is no better panoramic than that. Always enjoyable.

We participated in the Silver Strand Half Marathon and 5K and had to drive over the bridge to drop off my wife to the start line for her half marathon. Its a really cool bridge and it feels a little like driving in Mariokart if you have a peppy vehicle. Didn't notice if you could walk over it but probably... More

The view from the bridge is just incredible! You can see for miles. The harbor and the skyline of San Diego are both breathtaking. I was particularly interested in seeing ships, specifically the United States Coast Guard Cutter Waesche. Get into the lane closest to the guard rail instead of driving in the middle lane if you are interested in... More
