I am a bit afraid of heights but decided to go on this bridge anyways. The bridge was smooth and did not take a long time to cross. There was no traffic.

Spend a day in Coronado via this amazing bridge ... spectacular views all around. The island is well worth a day's visit

Long, LONG ago there was no Coronado Bridge. A ferry shuttled cars and people to and from Coronado Island (ok, so it's not REALLY an island, but just go with it) and a ferry does still run for nostalgia buffs. But in the mid 20th century the powers-that-be set about to provide better access between the mainland and Coronado. So... More

This is just a bridge, not sure why it's consider an attraction to some people. It doesn't even look stable.

It is always a great drive to cross this bridge. The views of the city are amazing. Just watch out what time you cross back to the city, as when the traffic from the base starts in the afternoon, there is always a traffic jam.

Good Lord, I went over this bridge on a trolley with their windows open. If you're afraid of heights like me, take a car instead. It was quite an experience.

Really its just a bridge, windy, tall and one that can be done to tick off your box. Can be done when on the SD trolley tours, hop on n off.

If you are in San Diego or Coronado you cannot avoid seeing the bridge at some point. Definitely and adventure to drive over it given its length, height, and view from the top. They have abolished the tolls so now it is free to go back and forth, so if you have a car, no reason not to do so.

Go over the Coronado Bridge and spend the day on the island. Walk the beach, visit the historic Coronado Island hotel, have lunch or dinner and enjoy the lovely homes along the coastline. We played golf on the course at Coronado ( opened to the public) and it was beautiful!

Very pretty bridge going over the water. A must to go over. Wish we were higher to see more. Love bridges and water. Can't beat that.
