We recommend the Cloudia to anyone looking for an opportunity to sail on an authentically restored wooden sailboat. The captain and crew were accommodating and entertaining. The non-sailors among us were comfortable while the experienced passengers marveled at the craftsmanship and workings of the restored ketch. Sailing on the Cloudia offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience to sail on a wooden Colin Archer design.

This was an excellent day of sailing on the Cloudia! As former sailboat owners, now in our eighties and retired, we have a lot of knowledge of what to expect on a sailboat. The crew was well trained and experienced. They worked together as a team to keep everything as it should be. The owner and his wife were also aboard, which made our day extra nice. They were both very friendly and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our day. The boat was restored beautifully and was very clean and well maintained. The tour included a variety of tasty snacks, water and soft drinks--no need to take your own. We both recommend this as a very different and relaxing tour for anyone visiting or living in San Diego!

Our family celebrated our daughter's college graduation with a private sunset cruise. We had a fantastic time on this beautiful boat! Prior to our trip Richard communicated very well and answered all of my questions. They accommodated everything we requested. The crew let my daughter and her brother hoist the sails. Our trip around the San Diego harbor was beautiful, with fantastic views of the sunset and the San Diego skyline. At one point, dolphins swam alongside the boat. Everyone had a great time, including my 82 year-old dad who walks with a cane. The boat was comfortable and steady and he had no problems.

Review of: The 3 Hour Tour
We loaded up a group of 9, packed some bubbles, and celebrated our friends birthday right. The crew and the boat are fantastic. We were provided a nice cheese plate, white wine and beer and a excellent cruise of the harbor. Where else are you going to ride in a 100 year old boat, see seal lions, watch military ships and cruise ships go by and watch F16s and Blackhawks fly over head. San Diego bay with the Cloudia and her crew is a must do experience.
