It is one of the more popular areas for surfers. Besides regular beach activities, you'll find yoga and surf school lessons. Dogs are allowed at certain times (early am and late pm). In the water you'll commonly see seals, sea lions and dolphins. One year...More

Mission beach is a perfect place if you're looking for a fun and unique atmosphere. There was never a dull moment and it's a beautiful area. Best time to go is when there is a farmers market going on, great food and local attractions!

This is a very long and sandy pbeach which has many shops and eateries nearby. We watched a beginners class on their surfboards on sand before they hit the ocean. Many appartments overlook the beach in what seems a nice beach area.
