SeaWorld is a good day out for the family however it is quite simply way over priced. There are a lot of better places to visit in San Diego that are 1/4 of the price. If my friends were travelling to San Diego I'd tell them that (for the price it costs) SeaWorld should be low on the list of... More

Great experience with young and older children. Handicap accessible. The park had it's last Shamu show and is transitioning into more of an educational experience with the killer whales. There are still dolphin and seal/sea lion shows. My favorite exhibit is the turtle encounter. The kids enjoyed the shark exhibit where you move on a conveyor belt through a tube... More

We had a positive experience with the animal encounters and an appreciation towards all the hard work and dedication of the animal caregivers and trainers. The aquariums and displays are beautiful and many are interactive. We were disappointed that the whale encounter was closed due to construction and many of the rides were not running; but keep in mind it... More

I went as a kid and recently again and thought it would be run down but it wasn't. I am one who hates seeing animals in small enclosures, but talking to some of the workers and reading the info at different attractions, most came from other parks and this makes it impossible to release to the wild. My boyfriend set... More

It had been over 20 years since I had visited this SeaWorld and although some things have changed, the one thing that has remained the same is the love that the trainers have for their animals. They exhibits were well maintained and extremely clean. There is great viewing opportunities to see the animals and marine life. The park itself, is... More

Shamu show is always a draw at Sea World parks. Amazing to see these beautiful animals in person and so close, although very controversial now. If you want to get wet on a hot day, sit in the first 15 or so rows. You definitely will get splashed. You can feed the Dolphins and sea lions in some pools and... More

Our 4 teenagers rated this as their best experience in the US. We did 5 weeks including Florida theme parks, the kids loved SeaWorld best. Animal exhibits were great, particularly the interactive pools at front gate. Expensive, and too many gift shops but that aside we could get healthy food options and wonderful animal interaction.
