If you enjoy museums, Balboa Park offers at least eight on the park's site, including botanical gardens, three theaters, International Hospitality Homes, artisan galleries and several restaurants.

Balboa park is one of my favourites places in San Diego! Not only beautiful park where you can have a picnic, perfect place for some fitness training, Doggy park, but also museums!! I go there quite a lot. Love Balboa park.

I have been to this park many times! From museums to gardens to hiking trails. Love it! Also the fountain is really nice at night time!

I think you can wander around at night but of course none of the restaurants or stores would be open

No charge for the park itself or for some of the exhibits. There is a charge for some of the museums and the zoo. No charge for parking!
