This is a well preserved homestead with an interesting history. About a 2 football field walk to the Homestead - flat and easy. There are hiking trails all around the area. Easy access and worth the stop!

It is a short walk from the parking lot to this 'step back in time' homestead. If you choose, you can continue hiking to an overlook to the Buffalo National River.

We walked the short hike to see this! It's a very rustic home from it's time! If you're near there it's worth a stop!

A short hike up a trail from Tyler Bend recreational center on the Buffalo River, takes you to the Collier Homestead. It is humbling to see how folks lived just a few short decades ago.
