Mystic caverns and crystal dome

Pretty caves with gorgeous displays. Little bit of a steep climb for the dome tour but worth it for the pristine condition.

We wanted to get away from the city atmosphere of Branson for a day trip. Mystic Caverns was a nice drive just an hour south from Branson. Nice place to visit to learn a little about "moonshing" days long ago! :). A few steps to walk, but not too difficult to manage. One of the easier caves to visit for... More

We arrived early and got a personal tour since it was a rainy day and we were their first visitors. John was an excellent tour guide, very friendly, informative and patient with my taking longer on the stairs than I would have taken 20 years ago!

There are two days in the place. We only visited the small cave. The price was $30 for 3 people. The smaller kids have been used during prohibition to make alcohol. So there was a lot of smoke damage to it. It was a very interesting cave and very pretty. The only reason that I am giving this a lower... More

This is a nice quick stop. If you are interested in some beautiful caves of the Ozarks this is one you should hit for a quick getaway.

Great tour and info about mystic caverns. A unique experience. Imperative to wear comfortable shoes. It is a little slick in areas, due to moisture. Nice for families.

If you stop here be sure to tour both caves the two are so different. One is 98% dead and the other 98% alive. It was nice comparing the two!! Took about an hour to see both!! Not Spectacular but really a nice visit!!

We did both caves. I would do this again to compare as they are so different. Was interesting, but sad, to see the damage done to the main cave. Would recommend if you are in the area...worth the admission and time.

We did both caves (which are next to each other). Just breathtaking to know that such natural beauty is below our feet! You must visit if you can, it is truly amazing!

We visited these caves on a scorching summer day and were glad for the cool respite. There are two caves available to tour. A well-informed guide leads you down into the caves and points out the outstanding features. The two tours are not long ...the larger cave takes a bit more time. They are both interesting and I felt safe... More
