Plan on getting a great tour and education at the same time. Your guide will allow you to take lots of pictures and ask lots of questions. Two caves worth the visit.

Took some international exchange students on a hiking trip over the weekend and the Mystic Caverns were a favorite of everyone from 10+ countries. The tour was fun and they even got to learn about Prohibition and stills!

The good part about these caverns is there are two, a younger one and the main older one. I have to say that although it's a much, much shorter tour, I liked the younger one better. Touring either one of these caverns means a lot...More

Absolutely stunning views of nature’s work underground. Visited both with the savings on admission and led by two very knowledgeable guides. A great gift shop to go with the great experience! A must see!

I am sorry that you had difficulty with your tour and did not enjoy it. Our guides are required to tell you that the tour through our lower cavern is difficult, going 110 feet below the surface, and requiring you to climb the 110 feet...More

We had a great time ! Our guide was very knowledgeable and the caves were beautiful. Fun outing. They also have a little fun "rock mining" activity for the kids. Only $6.99 and you get a whole bag full of rocks!

Thank you for taking the time to give us a nice review. I am sorry about the limited space in the parking lot; it was built in 1967 when there were less larger RV's.

Mystic Caverns (AR) vs. Ozark Caverns (MO) (2 Replies)
In route from Hot Springs, AR to Ozark, MO - we will be making a pit stop in Harrison, AR. There we were intrigued in the Mystic Cavers but then see that Ozark National Park also has Caverns. We have never been to any cavern so we will not be able to compare to others - so this will be a nice experience with whichever one we go with. My 10 year old son was very excited when I showed him the website to Mystic Caverns, but I haven't done too much research on the Ozark ones yet. Any...More

Best cave anywhere - Blanchard Springs Caverns in Arkansas. We have been to LOTS of caves all over the US and Mexico and this one is our favorite. For the best cave in Missouri we would pick Onondaga Cave. Both these caves have wonderful parks, tours, beautiful formations and are living cave systems.
