Love this lake. It has a great camping grounds and because of it’s beautiful flowers and landscape it hosts lots of weddings and family gatherings. Many shelters houses are available for rent at a reasonable fee.

Lake Shawnee is so beautiful nowadays. All the improvements they've made are really paying off. Try to plan on spending the entire day. Biking, boating, fishing, or golf and you're good to go!!

Great place to take your kids for play. There are multiple parks and things to do on the lake like fish or cattle boat. It has a beautiful flower garden

Beautiful park with several walking paths, creeks, waterfalls, gazeebo, and lots of flowers. Covered bridge, lots of birds and squirrels. Lovely place to relax.

Well run facilities and large campsites make this a good destination for a weekend or extended stay. Nearby Topeka has much to offer including shows at the Civic center and many dining eateries.
