This is a wonderful little gem of an Art Museum. Good spaces for rotating exhibits and not so big you get tired of looking. If you are at Washburn or in the area, definitely worth a little time to stop and check it out.

See the artwork displayed in the museum, but don't miss the children's art lab in the basement where the world of art comes alive in all its manifestations for children to explore hands on. This is one of Topeka's hidden treasures.

Washburn University has done an exceptional job of turning their campus into a 21st century work of art. Mulvane Art Museum is one of Washburn's masterpieces. In addition to the exhibits in the museum, there is some exceptional art around campus.

We really enjoy taking out grandchildren to see the art exhibits and to their youth art labs. The children have a great time with the numerous activities in the art lab.
