The gardens are breathe taking and kids love to explore! We had so much fun taking pictures and then we went into the old pharmacy where they have a soda fountain and it was delicious.

History buffs will enjoy the building moved here, the drugstore from Potwin, the General store from Mulvane, the Barbarshop, train depot and livery stable. I enjoyed volunteering at the Apple Festival and I enjoyed strolling through the tulips this week.

You will want to visit in the spring, but you tour the gardens and grounds anytime. They have tours and dinners of the home and buildings also.

Beautiful garden with amazing hotsa and the trees were in full fall colors. The mansion is very interesting with a great story. The Old Paririe Town is a collection of relocated building and historic memorbilia, don't miss the dentist office.

We were here for a wedding and we had to change in the bathrooms due to nothing being open (which seemed weird since there were 2 weddings going on). But nonetheless we were told that was the only place to change. The bathrooms were very...More

Go there often. For a relaxing lunch a stroll or just to share it with people that have never been. Used to take a group from the home where I worked at least once a year. I’ll miss that they always enjoyed it. Tulip season...More

Very nice. The heat had affected the flowers but the walk paths were very well maintained. We were married there 40 years ago and it is still beautiful.

This hidden gem offers a great mix of history and biology in a quiet Topeka neighborhood. The historic village re-creation is a neat glimpse into Kansas past and can offer interesting facts even without a tour guide thanks to helpful informational signage. The surrounding gardens...More

Dogs must be on leash as per city requirements, but are welcome in the outdoor areas of the park. I have taken my dogs there several times.
