This is a very nice collection of automobiles from the inception of the automobile to some very recent models. Included in the collection is one of the few Tucker cars every made. If you can get there before it closes in March.

Very sad to hear that they will be closing. They have a beautiful display of some amazing classic cars. The owners back story is wonderful as well. Very nice woman.

Friends and I went to this museum before it closes forever. Over 100 fully restored autos on display. from 1899 to 1994 and some extras on loan to the museum. The collection started in the 70's and the collectors death in 2006 put a timeline...More

Read about this museum in the newspaper. Many different types of vehicles from antique to modern. Lots of very rare automobiles. Displayed in a very interesting way. Admission very reasonable. Well worth the time and cost to visit.

I wrote a review of this terrific museum in the summer of 2018. It was announced in December that the museum is closing and all of the cars will be auctioned off. Very sad, a great loss.

This museum represents a wonderful chronology of automobile evolution. The collection houses some extremely rare automobiles and follows the progression of the advent of the automobile through the most modern. Plus, THEY HAVE A TUCKER. The only other one I have had the opportunity to...More

Cleveland Museum Friday (2 Replies)
My husband and I will be visiting Cleveland on a Friday in June 2018. We are thinking of taking in two or more museums: Art, Natural History and and maybe the Botanical Gardens and/or Crawford Automobile Museum. Is it possible to park once at the Art Museum or East Orchestra garage and walk to each venue? Or is it better to try and find metered parking near each location. Are metered spots free after a certain hour? Is there anywhere to eat nearby? Any tips for a museum Friday in Cleveland?...More

Going to Yosemite next week. Need help quickly. (25 Replies)
I need help and fast! We decided two days ago to make a quick trip to Yosemite next week. My husband has a business meeting in Reno on Thursday. I and my two youngest girls will tag along and then we will leave Reno on Thursday afternoon for Yosemite. I have already made sure that the Tioga Pass entrance is open unless there is a big storm between now and then. What I need to know is if what I have planned is doable and if anyone thinks I could possibly fit more into my itinerary. I don’t...More

Mariposa Grove adds a couple hours to your drive as does Glacier Point. If it were my trip, I would spend that day in Tuolumne Meadows area. Its drop dead gorgeous and you're going that way already

LA in 1,5 day with children? (13 Replies)
Hi all, we're travelling with 2 kids 6 and 8. We'll have about half of the Friday and the whole Saturday in LA. Leaving Sunday morning or early pm. Never been to LA. We'll have a rental car. Would it be better to use car or one of the bus tour services to see around? Staying in one of the hotels near the airport. Is below schedule doable / any good in your opinion? Friday PM: drive to Santa Monica / Venice beach, walk around a bit and have something to eat. Drive back to the hotel...More

Staying near LAX is a poor choice due to traffic issues. And depending on which hotel you've chosen, might be an even worse choice. Traffic is not too bad on Saturday so that's good. And you should plan something for Sunday morning since you have some time, traffic is really light then. In which direction are you heading on Sunday afternoon?
