My son, husband and I had a ball at a Muse Paintbar in Boston a few months ago. They lead you though doing one painting which will turn out fine no matter what your skill level. Plus you can have adult beverages while painting, which makes everything look better! Great fun especially for an all adult family!

I've only done one other paint night, so my experience is limited; however, I really enjoyed this place. The staff was really friendly, and getting everything set up was a breeze. They had examples of the painting we were doing throughout the shop for people to see, they had a sheet in the back with the paint to tell you how much of each color to get for set up, and they did an intro to the brushes. Every step of the way they gave you a demonstration, which helps to see what they did to accomplish the look, but they also fully encourage everyone to make it their own piece of art. Don't like this color? Switch it up. Think there should be a boat in the water? Add one. They constantly reminded you to do the sides, if you wanted the gallery wrapped look, which can be easy to forget. It was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend them to someone interested in a paint night. Also you can buy some wine or beer.

We came here on a Thursday night to do some painting! I have no artistic expertise whatsoever, so I came in with very low expectations. Our instructor was very friendly and taught us step by step how to paint the Boston skyline as seen from the Charles River. A number of employees rotated around to make sure we were doing ok and provided pointers. For those who need to relax and not "critique" themselves too harshly, The Paint Bar serves beer and wine as well. Overall, everyone in our group was very happy with the way things came out. It was fun to see how even though we all painted the same picture, they all came out very differently.

My wife and I went to The Paint Bar for our anniversary yesterday. We had a fantastic time! The staff Worre incredibly friendly- the teacher kept us all laughing and at ease as many of us painted our first pictures ever! We are looking for the best place to hang our "masterpieces" at home and tell everyone about our fantastic date! By the way, the three couples at our table had a great time and bonded over the experience. We can't wait to do this again!

The paint bar has a fantastic concept - learning how to pain a beautiful boston scene while enjoying a glass of wine. The instructors were well prepared and gave useful feedback. I would recommend this place for a date or for people who are visiting Boston. It's best if you are a party of 2 so you can sit together. Definitely coming back!
