Mobsters and Lobsters is a one of a kind trolley tour through Boston's sinister underground... Hear tales of mystery, mayhem, and murder while traveling through the city on an open air trolley (don't worry, there's windows and heat if necessary!) We specialize in corporate events and group outings, where we offer transportation, entertainment, dining and fun all in one! The tour has the option to conclude at a beautiful waterfront restaurant, where guests will dine together on a traditional New England boiled lobster dinner. (Alternate menu selections are available for those who don't eat seafood!) We also offer charters, party bus rentals, tailgate options, wedding transportation and more!

What a great tour! A great time!

Tom took us all over town and was fabulous at telling the stories of Historic Boston and its criminal past! Very knowledgable, informative and entertaining.

Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the city or those who already live here and want to know more.

The only way to experience Boston!

As someone who has never done a guided tour of any kind in any city, I was really looking forward to my first experience at Mobsters and Lobsters because it sounded super fun and interesting to hear another side to Boston's history. Tom and Victoria were amazing - very entertaining.

Our company booked this tour as a team building event in June with about 25 people, so we had the whole trolley to ourselves. The trolley picked us up at our office and off we went to downtown Boston. The cold drinks and breeze were amazing on a hot day and there were even a couple of stops along the way if you needed to use the restroom.

I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone - even if you think you know the whole premise of the movie The Departed, it's actually really cool to hear a lot of the other details and about other Boston gangsters.

Great time - loved it!

This dynamic duo really encompasses and shares their passion and love for their city while also deep diving into the history of mobsters in the city of Boston. It was such a great tour that combined learning and fun. I highly recommend this experience to anyone!

Wicked Awesome Tour

I can't say enough about how awesome this tour is. Book it, you won't regret it! Victoria worked to make our small company outing perfect. Tom's narration is like driving through the past while in a great mobster movie; I live here and didn't know a lot of the stories told. Dinner was fantastic, and the water view lovely. Everyone raved about the evening and I you'll hear from me again when my next team decides to visit the home office!

So fun!

We took this tour during the day with our team of scientist who had requested this specifically after having seen it go round the city.
They arrived decorated with mobster bling or dressed as a lobster and I am so glad we did this!
Tom did a great job engaging with the crew, sharing details of Boston’s mobster scene and serving us a delish lobster dinner.
Would highly recommend folks doing this!!

Dinner and a Show! Group Outing

We wanted our visiting West Coast team to have a quintessential Bostonian experience, AND did they ever!! Tom and Victoria were everything you'd hope for, with their no holds barred commentary, mobster fun facts and the occasional local heckler. Dinner after the tour was perfect, including the extra "team building" lobsters. The ride home (yes, door to door service) was full of singing and far too quick (never thought I'd wish for traffic). Made some great memories, even laughed till we cried! Highly recommend Mobsters & Lobsters, great company, fun team event and could not beat the price for an amazing night out.

Best tour I’ve ever been on

Best tour of a city I’ve ever been on! We booked this for my business team retreat and it was a hit for all members. Tom is a regular guy that has lived in Boston his whole life-so he has ALL the stories. We went all over the city and learned and saw so much. He was a true host and made us feel energized and curious as a team. He infuses personal stories with history stories, and more than just gangsters, too. After he tour concluded I yelled “again!” like it was an roller coaster! The team members who didn’t join regretted not joining and we all agreed the next time we all come to Boston we would be booking the tour again!
This is a must do, I want to go with friends, family and more of my colleagues!

Mobsters and Lobsters - Great Tour

This tour was terrific! Tom and his staff made this tour very enjoyable right out of the gate. They provided alcoholic beverages shortly after getting onto the bus, Tom was very funny and knowledgeable about the City of Boston and all of its historical happenings, especially tied to the mob scene. He was accommodating with bathroom breaks and he even stopped to pick up more beverages as they ran out. Very interesting and enjoyable tour through the City of Boston. Highly recommend!

Unique and Fun evening

Our company outing was with mobsters and lobsters. The hosts were energetic, entertaining, engaging and informative.

They also are very flexible with our group and even picked up someone on the way.

The dinner was fantastic. All-around a great experience.

Amazing Team Building Night

Had a great team building experience. Tom was extremely knowledgeable, highly entertaining, and had our group laughing and singing all night. Food was great and the view from the restaurant was amazing. Would highly recommend for anyone.
