Our guide and the pace were good. Saw lots of Boston. Have done a number of city bike tours in North America and Europe. This one was as good as others, with two exceptions. It rains in Boston like other cities. The tour should have cheap branded rain ponchos to give to customers on overcast days. None were given or... More

Thanks for your feedback! We will definitely make sure that our tour guides have rain ponchos available for guests in the case of inclement weather mid tour, though it is always great if you can pack your own rain jacket (the pouches on our bikes are big enough to hold a small jacket!). We've crafted our tour routes and content... More

The four adults in our group very much enjoyed our 3 hour city tour of Boston. Riding through the North End, Beacon Hill, Fenway, Back Bay and along the Charles River ending up at Boston harbor was a real treat! Bob, our guide, was able to tailor our tour to see and learn about many things it would be difficult... More

Great tour of Boston on bike with Pell who was a great guide. It was safe, fun, very informative - a fantastic way to see and explore the city. Highly recommend it and although we did not have our kids with us I would definitely take them on it.

I'd visited Boston before and didn't want to just do a tourist route. We hired bikes and had a fab day riding around following the routes on the map we were given. We did several routes back to back but really enjoyed our day seeing a different side of Boston.

We hired four bikes and due to an admin reason we got 48 hours for the price of 24 which was €40 plus tax. The bikes were of exceptional quality and condition and the staff were great. Some good cycle routes and we visited Salem with ours on the train at no extra cost. The only criticism I have the... More

My friend was visiting for three days and wanted to show Boston as much as I can in a short period time. There is utterly nothing better than this bike tour to see and learn about the city in a short period time on condition that weather would be nice. Our guide was a native Bostonian who catered to our... More

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
