We decided on a bike tour of Boston as we wanted to see a few of the sites and also get some exercise. I would HIGHLY recommend Urban AdvenTours. I felt very safe biking around a city that I didn't know at all. The tour guides were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My husband got a flat tire en route... More

We had a very informative tour of Boston, much of it out of the way of the traffic, which was great. Our family of 6 really enjoyed it and would recommend it to all.

Ken was our tour guide and took us to South Boston - we would never have seen this area of Boston if not for him. He was very knowledgeable about the history and what's currently going on with regards to development in the area. We went by the harbor and got to enjoy the sites as well. As far as... More

These folks run an extremely safe and friendly operation. They worked very hard to ensure we were all comfortable on our bikes, had enough water and were safe navigating the city. We were a largish group so there were three guides with us! The tour covered a lot of ground and sites off the beaten track for foot or even... More

Did this ride as a part of a large group. Would be better with a smaller group so it's easier and quicker to get around. It was an easy ride, only one hill which wasn't too difficult. Riders of all levels would be able to do this, however there are parts on the road which may be intimidating and more... More

My husband and I lived in Boston pre-kids and since then have visited at least a dozen times. But this was the first time we visited the city via bike. And it was AWESOME! We opted for a two-hour rental which permitted us to ride along the esplanade, to Boston Commons and over in Cambridge, most of the time in... More

While visiting Boston for a work trip, I took a bike tour around Cambridge. Loved it! Not only was the tour joyful, but eventful too! Will be biking with them again!

We enjoyed the tour. Bob and Ken took us round and were friendly. They made sure the bikes were the right size and the bikes were good condition which is important. We found the tour was a little too long and a bit boring in places but overall felt we got a good feel for Boston.

Tony, We try to include as much of a "city view" as we can so that you do get the best feel of the city, which leads to our 2.5 hour tour being on the longer side of a leisurely ride. We apologize if it was boring at times, but we include a wide range of content so that everyone... More

I love biking and my husband doesn't, and even he thought this was a great activity! Before we left I was nervous about riding on the streets of Boston, but the drivers are more respectful of bikes than I expected, and I never felt unsafe. There were a couple of hills in the beginning of the ride, but otherwise it... More

Boston offers many ways to see the city - BUT - this was the best. Bicycling through the city of Boston gives you the opportunity to cover more ground than walking, as well as, going slow enough to thoroughly enjoy the sites and nooks and crannies Boston has to offer. The guide was knowledgeable - the staff was more than... More

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
