Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.

Great place for a night out with friends!
Couldn’t have picked a better spot for a Saturday night out in Boston. Fun and friendly staff with exceptional service. We sampled a variety of food and drinks that were delish. With live acoustics downstairs to a dj and dancing upstairs the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Overall experience was great from start to finish!

Great!
The point was great! Went by one night after work to have drinks with a few co workers. Service was impeccable, and the drinks were great! Such a friendly staff all around and great environment! Would highly recommend.

THE BEST PLACE AROUND
This is the best place in Boston, hands down!! The staff is incredible, the food is great, atmosphere is even better. The live music can’t be beat and open windows are great for the summer. Get to THE POINT!!

Pleasant surprise along the freedom trail
I took my grandsons to walk the freedom trail and we happened to stop by The Point. They were very welcoming the second we stepped foot inside. We got a seat by the huge sliding windows. The bartender suggested clam chowder which was amazing. My grandsons enjoyed the chicken sandwich and pizza. I would highly recommend!

Very kind young man

This is a thank you to a member of your staff.
On Thursday 27th July my husband and I walked the heritage trail in intense 30* heat. I was beginning to feel the affects of the heat when we came across your pub. A young lady was kind enough to find me a seat and some water. Subsequent to that I asked a male member of your staff if he could possibly find us a taxi as we were staying all the way back in the centre on Copley Square.
The young gentleman was very tall with dark hair in a high ponytail. He booked us a taxi which didn’t turn up so he booked one for us on his personal Uber account and we gave him the cash. He waited with us outside until the cab arrived, he said as I was Ill he wanted to make sure we got back to our hotel safely.
I just wanted to say what an outstanding, polite, well mannered and well brought up young man he is. You should be proud to have him on your staff. I did tell him as we were leaving that he will go to heaven. I hope he remembers us and accepts the massive thank you that he truly deserves.

Excellent place!

The Point is awesome! I've stopped in from time to time over the years and it never gets old. The staff and ownership are super friendly and the food is excellent. If you're looking for a place to grab some good food and drink, watch some sports or just go dancing with your friends I would highly suggest it!

Fish tacos

This is a great place to eat. Walking on the freedom trail makes a person hungry.
They have a variety of food fish tacos, chicken, pita with veggies and dip was good had red peppers, cucumbers, celery, broccoli and more! yes it is a bar but at lunch time you can get something to eat. The fish was yummy! staff was very friendly and patient since our first time deciding what to order. No coffee or hot tea to drink.

“The Point” hits a grand slam!

Went to a fundraising Sunday Brunch at “The Point”
Both the venue and food were superb! Service was 1st class!
This bar/restaurant is as good as it gets!! Location in historic Quincy market is a trip unto itself.
Highest recommendation!!!

Get to The Point!

On a cold day sightseeing around Boston, The Point was a welcome, warm haven. Had lunch here and shared a few small plates with my daughter - so good! The chowder and fish tacos are amazing! Our server was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxing and friendly with the new XFL football league on the bar tv. Would certainly come back next time.

Terrible food.

Lively atmosphere, okay drink selection, TERRIBLE food. I ordered warm Buddha bowl with “roasted vegetables” that were served raw. Whole meal was pretty bland. Hubby had pulled pork sandwich that wasn’t very good. Neither of us finished our meals. Better options in that area.

We took refuge here at The Point during our Freedom Trail tour. It was a cold snowy day and we needed a little liquid refreshment to warm us up. It was a busy spot but we got a table and warmed up
