Jay ( I believe) picked us up near our hotel, was kind, courteous & knowledgeable. We boarded the ferry near Woods Hole..grabbed a delicious blueberry muffin @ Pie in the sky bakery for the ferry ride...smooth, beautiful ride. We did book the additional 3 hour Island tour and it was well worth it. Tom, our driver on MV was great. Again, kind, had a sense of humor, much knowledge. Long day, a lot of walking ( if you choose) be prepared, although well worth it!! Had the best lobster roll and clam chowder @ Martha's Vineyard Chowder Co in Oak Bluffs. Great day, highly recommend!!

This daytrip was an expensive ride from Boston to Martha's Vineyard and back. The expected narration of the Boston area was nonexistent until the final minutes of our return to Boston. There were four in our group, and our decision on this company was partly based on the description that we would receive light narration of information about the Boston area in transit to destination. Our driver also exceeded the maximum speed limit on the highway by as much as 15mph much of the time and by as much as 27mph while crossing a bridge. I feel this jeopardizes safety of passengers. Overall, this was simply transportation from Boston to Martha's Vineyard, unless you purchased the optional Martha's Vineyard tour, which could have been provided at a lower cost.

Thank you for the review. I'm not sure how much research you did before calling the 80 mile $45.50 ride expensive. This ride also included snacks, water and an island guide book. (Let me know if you find a less expensive option with all of these inclusions) I'm also not sure how much research you did on the cost of 3 hour narrated Island tours. I find it very hard to believe that our driver was driving at the speeds that you claim he/she was. Just for the record, we have not had a single negative occurrence on the road in 11 years. Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.

We were picked up near our hotel and drove to Falmouth where we boarded a ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. It was a 40 minute cruise to Oak Bluffs where we hopped on a bus driven by Tom, who had lived on the island all his life. He was extremely knowledgeable regarding the island and it’s history. We stopped at Edgartown and Gay Head. When we returned to Oak Bluffs we had several hours to walk around the town. We enjoyed the best clam chowder at Coop de Ville and watching the sail boats in the harbor.

We took this trip today and it was an excellent experience. Our tour guide, Kristin, did an amazing job. She was fun, knowledgeable and experienced. She took us to places we didn’t even know existed. The day/experience was worth our time and money. We would highly recommend taking this trip especially with Kristin.

Excellent! Thought this might be a stuffy history heavy tour, our guide Kristin was delightful. A great mix of early settler, revolution history along with local flavor. The pace was just right. Nice insights to coastal living and local celebrities. The historical stops we a breeze, no lines and all well done. It’s an all day tour, but Kristins fun sense of humor and extensive knowledge of the are made the time fly by.

Thank you for this EXCELLENT 5 star review of our Plymouth day trip. One thing you absolutely will not get with Kristin is "stuffy". She is a wonderful tour guide with immense knowledge of the area. Her personality will not let you have a bad time.. I appreciate you spending a day with us. Kind Regards, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.
