I love downtown Boston. So many memories of the Old Filene's Basement and Jordan Marsh. Primemark is a great place to stop and shop. Prices are incredible too.

A busy street with tourists and workers. But it isn't as eye-catchy as the crossing in Shibuya, Tokyo. Even so, it worth your few minutes as there are quite some nice-looking high-rises around.

There is not much to do, except shop at Marshall's or Macy's and get a coffee or lunch. The area is worth walking though just for the sake of looking at the city and the people. It was a clean place when I visited.

Lots of changes going on at Downtown Crossing! So happy that they have a Roche Bros & a newly opened Primark! Also, building a scyscraper that is in the former Filene's Basement. They have city employees down keeping the area clean and also talking to...More

Was there last Sunday night and there is nothing but trash around this area. Why you decide to go there I wouldn't know. We stumbled along this area and couldn't wait to get out. May be for some but there are so many other areas...More

Walking in Downtown Crossing must be chaotic most days, but early on a Sunday morning you get an opportunity to explore the Roche Brothers grocery store located in the old Filene's Basement setting. Like all the Roche Brothers stores, it is filled with very professional...More

Downtown Crossing is a fun spot , reminds you of lower Manhattan shopping. The restaurants are great, but few and sometimes tough to find. Shopping is good. Better to visit on a weekday for all the stores to be opened. But a nice spot to...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have

There isn't really any free parking in the area, mostly metered or parking garages.
